The daughters of a deceased New York podiatrist have revealed some of President Donald Trump’s alleged medical information to the media in what appears to be a bid to damage his reputation.
According to Dr. Elysa Braunstein, 56, in 1968 her father, Dr. Larry Braunstein, diagnosed Trump, then 22, with bone spurs as a favor for the current president’s dad.
She claimed that her dad rented his office from Trump’s father, Fred C. Trump, and that by diagnosing the current president with bone spurs, he gained “access to Fred Trump.”
“If there was anything wrong in the building, my dad would call and Trump would take care of it immediately. That was the small [return] favor that he got,” she explained to The New York Times.

The Times claimed that Elysa’s sister, Sharon Kessel, 53, backed this account, though it admitted in its piece that neither sister had any evidence to back their claims.
“No paper evidence has been found to help corroborate the version of events described by the Braunstein family,” the far-left paper lamented, adding that the podiatrist never left any records with his daughters and that even the doctor who purchased his practice was unaware of such records.
So was Dr. Alec Hochstein, a friend of Braunstein.
“Dr. Alec Hochstein, who worked with Dr. Braunstein in the late 1990s, said the podiatrist had recalled over dinner with their wives how the Trumps had treated him well, including backing off from rent increases. Dr. Hochstein did not remember any discussions related to Mr. Trump’s medical exemption.”
And even if evidence existed — which it clearly doesn’t — it’d be patently illegal for Braunstein’s daughters to share them with anybody, let alone the media.
This potentially fraudulent story matters because it’s being used by the left to argue that the president had purposefully used the bone spurs diagnosis to dodge the Vietnam War draft.
Braunstein’s daughters claimed that whenever their father recounted the story about diagnosing Trump, he seemed to imply that Trump didn’t actually suffer from bone spurs.
“But did he examine him? I don’t know,” Elysa conceded.
While no evidence has surfaced to substantiate this conspiracy theory, it remains popular on the left in part because of the media’s willingness to indulge any anti-Trump conspiracy theory.
Look:
Trump cheated on the draft, just like with everything he does!

Not surprised he avoided the draft. He doesn’t know the meaning of patriotism. Even today, he continues to take from our Country and gives nothing back.

Yes it was a turbulent time we all know that, but it’s a slap in the face who did serve in Vietnam and returned to be treated so terribly. If he cared so much for the Country as he says he should have served like so many others. This lie will should amplified to the public.

It’s easy to see why Donald has no respect for the law or our institutions, given how he and his father have manipulated the system for their own self-interest while shirking their responsibilities (taxes, military service, charity, fair housing, zoning, war profiteering, etc.,)

More corruption? The entire family is a criminal organization.

Millions of young men obtained draft deferments during the Vietnam War, including former Vice President Joe Biden, a Democrat whose own deferments have been virtually ignored by the media.
“Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr., the Democratic vice-presidential nominee, received five student draft deferments during the Vietnam War,” The Washington Times reported in 2008.
It’s unclear why the Times never dug into Biden’s medical history. It’s also unclear why the Times allowed Braunstein’s daughters to share potentially confidential information with them.
The president has for his part repeatedly made it clear that he didn’t purposefully skip the draft.
“I didn’t have power in those days. I had no power. My father was a Brooklyn developer, so it wasn’t like today,” he reportedly said in a 2014 interview with biographer Michael D’Antonio.
His point had been that nobody ever pulled strings for him. And nothing written in the Times piece shows or proves otherwise, as noted by some on social media:
Summary: hearsay from the daughters of a deceased man is used as the main evidence that Trump faked his bone spurs.
Analysis: if you hate Trump read this article. If you find it worthy of print you suffer from confirmation bias.

So…it’s hearsay, about hearsay, about what a third party adjacent to Trump may or may not have done? Great journalistic integrity there @nytimes ? #WhoCares #FakeNews https://t.co/EKTShAMJyK

The best part is, there’s no corroborating evidence that either podiatrist mentioned ever said a word about Donald Trump (there is evidence they mentioned Fred). The main podiatrist’s daughters are the *only* source mentioned for the draft dodge accusation.
— Uatu the Watcher (@UatuAndStan) December 26, 2018
So the daughter of a now deceased podiatrist who just so happens to be DEMOCRAT is accusing her father of illegally giving Trump a favor to dodge the draft. Hmmmm…?
How is this even a story??? Fake news run amok! https://t.co/xGvrhAtJjh— USA Patriot (@uspatriot2015) December 26, 2018
Relatives say. But not the doctor? Fake news
— wink (@Winkishere) December 26, 2018
It’s the Times. Fake news. If there was any evidence it would have surfaced long before the national election. Tipster smear job.
