LeBron James follows dissing ‘old white men’ with ‘Jewish money’ post that caused meltdown, and an apology

NBA star LeBron James is making more headlines for his race-baiting rhetoric than his basketball skills lately.

James apologized after being called anti-Semitic for posting an Instagram video quoting a rap song that referenced “Jewish money.” The lyrics are from the track “ASMR” by hip-hop artist 21 Savage.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, LeBron typed the lyrics: “We been getting that Jewish money, Everything is Kosher” across the screen.

In the video, a dejected LeBron wore a purple hoodie while being driven in a car.  The clip was posted shortly after the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Amid backlash, LeBron apologized for his “Jewish money” gaffe, saying he didn’t mean to be racist or anti-Semitic. “Apologies, for sure, if I offended anyone,” James told ESPN.

“That’s not why I chose to share that lyric. I always [post lyrics]. That’s what I do. I ride in my car, I listen to great music and that was the byproduct of it.

I actually thought it was a compliment and obviously, it wasn’t through the lens of a lot of people. My apologies. It definitely was not the intent to hurt anybody.”

Normally, most people would ignore such a gaffe, but in today’s hyper-PC environment, everything is pathologically scrutinized. It’s an alarming trend that was launched by the left to ensnare Republicans and conservatives, but has now entrapped popular liberals.

This is the second time this week that LeBron James has made a race-baiting remark that raised eyebrows.

As BizPac Review reported, James blasted NFL team owners, saying they’re a bunch of racist “old white men” with a “slave mentality.”

James said: “In the NFL, they just got a bunch of old, white men owning teams and they got that slave mentality. And it’s like, ‘This is my team. You do what the f— I tell y’all to do, or we get rid of y’all.’”

James also called all Trump supporters “uneducated.”

LeBron was once widely admired across a broad swath of sports fans until 2016, when he campaigned for Democrat Hillary Clinton and started publicly trashing Donald Trump.

James has repeatedly called President Trump a racist while blithely ignoring that his pal Hillary had called black youth “super-predators” and said “we have to bring them to heel.”

In 2017, LeBron called President Trump a “bum” after he reacted to a diss by Trump-hating NBA star Steph Curry.

The mainstream media and leftists applauded James for trashing the president of the United States, and insisted that was a war that Trump “can’t win” since LeBron is so popular.

But if that’s true, why isn’t Hillary president? After all, LeBron stumped for Clinton in his home state of Ohio in 2016. And Trump still won Ohio — a traditionally blue state.

Countless other popular celebrities with massive social-media followings also endorsed and campaigned for Hillary, yet most of their fans never bothered to vote. Oh well. Lip service only gets you so far in this world.
