The dust has barely settled from the controversy sparked by liberals complaining about a traditional Christmas song when another classic has been targeted.
But this time, instead of banning the song as was the case with “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” the lyrics have been given a feminist spin by Miley Cyrus.
Performing the traditional Christmas song “Santa Baby” during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday, Cyrus gave the ditty an unwanted update, invoking #MeToo sentiments and progressive points like equal pay.
The 26-year-old star asked Fallon if it was okay to change some of the lyrics from the song, originally sung by Eartha Kitt in 1953, as she took part in the “Santa Baby” skit, criticizing the original lyrics.
“And look at this, I’m asking for a car and a yacht and checks and literally the deed to a platinum mine,” Cyrus told the late-night television host. “Plus, am I singing that I’m going to hook up with Santa if he buys me all this stuff?”
Fallon gave her the green light, saying he trusted her with the change and then joined in along with producer Mark Ronson.
“Don’t want diamonds, cash or stocks,” Cyrus sang. “Nothing that comes in a box. No more fluff, I’ve had enough. And I can buy my own damn stuff.”
“Listen Santa to what I say: A girl’s best friend is equal pay,” she sang as the crowd ate it up.
“Santa baby, I’d love to know my a** won’t get grabbed at work by some ignorant jerk,” she added in a hat tip to the #MeToo movement. “Tell the dirtbag to put away the chimney tonight.”
Fallon’s adoring audience gave Cyrus a roaring stamp of approval while on social media, the compliments gushed in, thanking the chart-topping singer and actress for giving “Santa Baby” the “much-needed update” many of us never even thought it needed.

Many others, however, did not appreciate anyone messing with tradition for the sake of pushing their liberal agenda – especially when steeped in hypocrisy.
She literally uses her body to make garbage tons of money and then lectures the rest of us about feminism while posing with a wrist full of jewelry. The entertainment industry is filled to the brim with Marxists disguised as all these pet social justice champions.
