Keith Ellison elected Minnesota attorney general despite multiple abuse claims by women

Democrat Congressman Keith Ellison was elected the attorney general for the state of Minnesota despite being accused of domestic violence by two former girlfriends. Ellison beat out Doug Wardlow, who was trying to become the state’s first Republican attorney general in almost 50 years.

In the lead-up to the midterms, Ellison was dogged by accusations that the DNC — which Ellison is the deputy chair of — grossly mishandled the investigation into the shocking domestic violence claims raised by his former girlfriend Karen Monahan.

As BizPac Review reported, Karen Monahan claimed that she had video proof of Ellison dragging her off a bed by her feet while calling her a “f*cking b*tch” and yelling at her to get the f*ck out of his house.”

Monahan also said she has more than 100 abusive text messages from Ellison, the first Muslim elected to the United States Congress.

In 2006, a woman named Amy L. Alexander filed a restraining order against Keith Ellison because he allegedly abused her too. Alexander has 911 call records to back up her accusations.

Ellison denied the allegations, and the Minnesota Democrat Party did a cursory investigation that cleared him of wrongdoing.

Karen Monahan — a lifelong Democrat — blasted her own party, saying it only believes women when it’s politically expedient to do so (like in the case of Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford).

Meanwhile, another controversial Muslim Democrat, Ilhan Omar, won her district race to fill Keith Ellison’s seat in Congress.

The district Omar won is in Minneapolis, which has a high Somali Muslim population. The state of Minnesota has the highest Somali population in the United States.

Ilhan Omar — who campaigned to abolish ICE — reportedly committed immigration fraud by marrying her own brother in 2009. They divorced in 2017.
