Kanye West said he’s stepping away from politics after being ruthlessly bullied and attacked by liberals as a mentally ill, uneducated, “token Negro” for supporting President Trump.
“My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in,” Kanye tweeted. “I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative.”
For the record, Kanye is not disavowing President Trump–just his association with Blexit.
Kanye noted that he never wanted to be associated with Blexit (short for “black exit”), the mass exodus of blacks from the Democrat Party.
West was credited with designing the Blexit logo, but said he merely introduced the designer to Candace Owens, the conservative firebrand who helped launch Blexit.

I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.

Liberals are gloating about Kanye West’s sudden about-face, suggesting his decision to step away from politics was a disavowal of his support for President Trump and conservative viewpoints.
Actually, Kanye is not disavowing President Trump–just his association with Blexit.

Meanwhile, the left ignore the role they played in driving Kanye — an influential, successful black millionaire — into political silence.
After West proclaimed his support for Trump and his disavowal of Democrats, the media went into overdrive to mock him as mentally ill, a “token Negro,” stupid and uneducated, and published rumors that his marriage to Kim Kardashian was on the rocks.
Here’s the reality: West spoke his mind when he said blacks don’t automatically have to be Democrats and urged them to think for themselves instead of having their political positions dictated to them by patronizing, condescending white liberals with a White Savior Complex.

In September 2018, Kanye revealed that he was bullied and harassed by “Saturday Night Live” to not wear his MAGA hat on stage.
During his SNL performance, West blasted the Democrat Party for marginalizing black fathers and promoting welfare dependence in black communities, as BizPac Review reported.
“They bullied me backstage,” Kanye told the audience before NBC cut him off. “They said, ‘Don’t go out there with that hat on.’ They bullied me backstage. They bullied me!”

It’s no surprise that Kanye West — who once considered running for president — has now retreated from the political arena after being the target of a coordinated media campaign designed to bully him into silence.
While it was great to have Kanye publicly blast leftist talking points, the GOP and the conservative movement don’t need him since they don’t rely on celebrities the way Democrats do.
Accordingly, they have no hard feelings toward West for capitulating to mob bullying and harassment.

Meanwhile, this is how today’s Democrats view minorities: Senator Joe Donnelly of Indiana sounded surprised that the minorities who work on his staff actually do a good job.
“Our state director is Indian-American, but he does an amazing job,” Donnelly said. “Our director of all constituent services, she’s African-American. But she does an even more incredible job than you could ever imagine.”
