The way the left-wing media react to right-wing mobs versus left-wing mobs differs like night and day.
Despite crowds of unhinged liberals repeatedly harassing and sometimes even assaulting conservatives, the left-wing media remain convinced that there’s no such thing as a “leftist mob.”
To them, crowds of unhinged liberals interrupting Sen. Ted Cruz’s dinner with his wife or banging their hands on the Supreme Court door represents “peaceful protesters” merely expressing themselves.
Yet when an enraged “right-wing mob” of anti-communist protesters harassed House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi in Florida last week, the media promptly began singing a different tune.
Here’s one example:
A commentator for MSNBC argued that to compare the mob that harassed Pelosi to the mobs that have been harassing conservatives means to humor a “false equivalency.”
“[They’re] not the same,” commentator Kurt Bardella said Saturday to network host Joy Reid. “Just watching that, the feeling that you get of fear, I don’t care who you are, how long you’ve been doing this in public service, having that type of hatred and anger and venom directed at you from people that you know want to do you harm, people that you know advocate for violence, this isn’t a peaceful protest.”

Neither were these:
“There’s a very, very big difference in peaceful assembly and exercising your right to protest this government and doing what we’re seeing right there,” he continued. “We’ve seen that this group, whether it’s in Los Angeles, New York, have had instances where they incite violence wherever they go. That’s a very scary thing and a very different thing. That’s what a mob is.”
This rhetoric mirrors that of numerous other left-wing media figures who’ve made light of or even outright denied the increasingly mob-like behavior of liberal Democrats.
When conservative columnist Matt Lewis noted a coupled weeks ago that the group of left-wingers who’d harassed Cruz were a “mob,” CNN host Don Lemon grew so incensed that he told him to “shut up!”
Why so much anger? Because Lemon thinks the Constitution grants liberals the right to act unhinged.
“In the Constitution, you can protest whenever and wherever you want,” he claimed. “It doesn’t tell you that you can’t do it in a restaurant, that you can’t do it on a football field. It doesn’t tell you that you can’t do it on a cable news. You can do it wherever you want. To call people mobs because they are exercising their constitutional right is just beyond account pale.”

Dovetailing back to the discussion on MSNBC, the host concurred with Bardella’s assessment, adding that what differentiates “peaceful” left-wing protests from right-wing mobs is profanity.
“People who are at brunch, they shame, shame, shame, why are you caging children. This [the Pelosi protest] is a pretty intimidating thing — a man hurling pretty vile epithets at an older woman,” she said.
Like the epithets that were yelled at conservative Candace Owens and Turning Points USA founder Charlie Kirk as they attempted to eat breakfast at a Philadelphia coffee shop two months ago?

The difference is that whereas not a single Democrat or member of the media condemned this mob, Republicans and conservative commentators rushed to social media to condemn the Pelosi mob.
