A left-wing male feminist who was caught on film late last month roundhouse-kicking a pro-life woman has since been publicly identified as a hairstylist and fired from his job.
Viral footage published to the YouTube page of LifeSiteNews earlier this week showed male feminist Jordan Hunt pestering pro-life activist Marie-Claire Bissonnette with inane questions outside a pro-life rally in Toronto that reportedly occurred Sept. 30.
After Bissonnette replied with answers that Hunt apparently found dissatisfying, he performed a roundhouse kick that hit her in the shoulder and sent her phone flying.

According to Bissonnette, the male feminist’s shocking kick had in reality been the climax of what had already been an eventful afternoon. In a column for LifeSiteNews this week, she described in detail how Hunt had first vandalized her and her peers’ pro-life signs.
“A man in his late twenties to early thirties observed the demonstration and, taking out two markers, one red and one blue, he managed to deface two of our signs,” she wrote.
“After I warned people to shield their signs, he then proceeded to run up behind five of the participants (including a ten-year-old girl) and scribble with his markers on their backs, ruining their clothing.”
What followed next was the kick. Though Bissonnette promptly reported the attack to local authorities, they seemed entirely indifferent to her ordeal and claimed it wasn’t a “serious case of assault.”
After initially declining to file a complaint, she returned home only to find that her shoulder was starting to hurt. She then recontacted the authorities and filed a formal complaint. It’s unclear whether Hunt has been arrested yet, though he has at least since been identified and fired.
“It has been brought to our attention that Jordan Hunt has been caught on camera assaulting an innocent bystander at a pro-life rally,” his now-former employers at Noble Studio 101 wrote on Instagram after the video of him assaulting Bissonnette went viral.
“We don’t condone his actions and he has been let go. We believe that everyone has a right to an opinion and the right to voice their opinion without fear of physical violence.”

A rep for the hair salon confirmed this with LifeSiteNews: “We don’t condone any kind of violence. We’re four strong women here,” she said. … Everybody has their own opinion and different ways of thinking, but violence is not the answer. He won’t be stepping his foot through the door again.”
While this is good news, it should be noted that Hunt’s behavior isn’t an anomaly — it’s a prominent feature, in that such attacks by rabid leftists occur frequently, as noted by Bissonnette in her column.
“This isn’t the first time I’ve been attacked. Rocks have been thrown at me. I’ve been spat upon multiple times and pushed. Men have aggressively asked how I would like it if they raped me and forced me to have an abortion,” she pointed out.
She also described how another pro-life rallygoer was assaulted at the rally: “Elsewhere on the same day, a man was standing and silently praying at the corner of Confederation and the Queensway in Mississauga when a woman approached him from behind and poured paint all over his jacket and pants. He was oblivious to what was happening until he felt the liquid and turned around to see the woman grinning at him.”
Though such attacks occur frequently, the media rarely cover them. Take what happened to Bissonnette. A quick Google search showed that less than a handful of mainstream outlets in America and Canada had taken the time to report what had happened.
“There is a media-driven narrative that pro-life activists are violent and a danger to women. This is a bald-faced lie. The only violence or aggression I’ve witnessed in my many years in the pro-life movement comes entirely from pro-abortion activists, and yet it’s rarely, if ever, reported,” Bissonnette concluded.
