Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino warned Republicans to support and vote for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh or face dire consequences in November.
Bongino reacted to the latest in the unfolding drama involving Kavanaugh as Friday saw the Senate Judiciary Committee vote to advance his nomination to the Senate floor for a full vote while Sen. Jeff Flake called for a delay pending yet another FBI investigation, this tine focusing on the decades-old sexual assault allegations brought against the judge.
“I don’t know how much more, Tucker, people will be able to take out there,” the NRATV host told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Friday.
Bongino noted that even his friends on both sides of the political aisle who are “marginally interested in politics,” have told him they “can’t believe what is happening.”
Following Flake setting up the conditions for his vote, and after the circus that unfolded in hearings with Kavanaugh and his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, Bongino issued a stark wake-up call for Republicans.
“Tucker, if they let this guy go down, Brett Kavanaugh, if they let this character assassination of a father, a basketball coach, a son, and a dedicated public servant go down in flames,” he said. “if they let this happen, I can’t tell you, the GOP will be wiped, absolutely wiped out in the midterms. It will be a stain on them forever.”
Bongino admitted, “I’m exhausted this week.”
“Everybody is,” he added, but urged “this is not time to give up the fight.”
“But I’m just begging these guys in Congress and the women on our side. Take the damn vote. Take the vote. Get them on the record” he said passionately.
In one of many tweets, Bongino called out Flake and his encounter with Soros-funded protesters in an elevator before his dramatic vote Friday.
Flake is lost, forget him. Time to move on and defend the judge. Imagine how the heroes of Normandy Beach must feel knowing that Flake got scared because protestors yelled at him in an elevator. Call the vote next week and get everyone on the record. It’s time to fight.

“If we are going to lose, go down swinging,” he told Carlson. “And at least we have something in the midterms to hold the people to account on in red states. And these Republicans who claim to champion our values. Take the vote. It’s time to fight.”
Carlson agreed, likening the recent events to watching a horror movie.
I can’t say this in strong enough terms to the GOP. If you don’t get control of the vote count and you let Kavanaugh fall on the floor YOU WILL BE DECIMATED IN THE NOVEMBER ELECTION. Absolutely bank on it.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Friday, just hours after the drama with Flake and the Judiciary Committee’s vote, that “all 51 Republican members of the Senate support the motion to proceed to the nomination.”
“This is a nomination that deserves to move forward — and that is precisely what is happening,” McConnell said. “The full Senate will begin considering Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination today.”
Bongino, who recently declared that Kavanaugh should be getting ready “to sue the living snot” out of those who’ve defamed him, decimated Flake and the shameful antics of Democrats in several tweets on Friday.
Today’s been awful but this isn’t about Flake,it’s about the judge. Flake is a mercenary sell out & always has been.We need to stay in the fight. Kavanaugh deserves it. Don’t let liberal tyrants continue to destroy this man’s life. Demand a floor vote & get everyone on the record
— Dan Bongino (@dbongino) September 28, 2018
Putting your faith in Jeff Flake for a floor vote is an exercise in futility. He’s waiting for the next opportunity to sell out the country for himself. There’s no more mercenary, selfish Senator in the Senate than Flake. He is just waiting to sell us all out again.
— Dan Bongino (@dbongino) September 28, 2018
I’ve been hard on the GOP but this one is on FLAKE. He did this. He sold you out. He’s the mercenary. What deal did he cut for himself?
— Dan Bongino (@dbongino) September 28, 2018
Kavanaugh is supported by Republicans ranging from Lindsey Graham to Ted Cruz, and from George W. Bush to Donald Trump. Yet Flake, Murkowski, and Collins can’t make up their minds? That tells you everything you need to know about them. Take the vote and get them on the record.
