A classmate of the woman accusing Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct backed up the allegations in a social media post that she later deleted because it “served its purpose.”
Cristina King Miranda, a classmate of Kavanaugh’s accuser Christine Blasey Ford, said that the US Supreme Court nominee should “stop lying, own up to it and apologize,” for the incident that allegedly happened more than three decades ago.
Christina King Miranda, a classmate of Dr. Blasey-Ford, on the Kavanaugh assault:
‘This incident did happen. Many of us heard about it in school.’
The FBI should interview her and others.https://t.co/s9gEyW5LIU via @facebook #Kavanaugh pic.twitter.com/gMvoUQXvDk— Cruz Cerda III, Ph.D. (@cruzcerda3) September 19, 2018
“I graduated from Holton Arms, and knew both Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge. Christine Blasey Ford was a year or so behind me, I remember her, I signed this letter [supporting Ford],” Miranda said in a now-deleted tweet, according to Mediaite. “The incident was spoken about for days afterwords in school. Kavanaugh should stop lying, own up to it and apologize.”
“Christine Blasey Ford was a year or so behind me,” Miranda, who now lives and works in Mexico City, wrote in a Facebook post which she also later removed, according to NBC News. “I did not know her personally but I remember her. This incident did happen.”
Kavanaugh and his classmate, Mark Judge, whom Ford says was there during the alleged incident, have denied the accusations. A third classmate named has also denied attending the party.
Miranda’s account contradicts Ford’s interview with The Washington Post in which she claimed she did not tell anyone about what had happened at the time. Ford reportedly did not tell anyone about the incident until 2012, when she was in therapy with her husband.

Miranda also noted that the gossip circulated at school about Ford’s allegation that a drunken teenage Kavanaugh groped her during a house party. But Ford’s account in her interview claims the incident happened over summer vacation.
“Many of us heard a buzz about it indirectly with few specific details. However Christine’s vivid recollection should be more than enough for us to truly, deeply know that the accusation is true,” Miranda wrote.
She also declared that, regardless of the accusations, she was already against Kavanaugh’s nomination.
“I was and still am completely against his nomination,” Miranda said. “I do not want him representing me or making decisions on my behalf in the Supreme Court as he goes against everything sacred to me as [a] woman.”
“If Kavanaugh truly has the integrity mentioned by those who support him, then he should be just as courageous as Christine and stop trying to dodge the accusations, admit his actions from so long ago, speak from the heart, and apologize.”
Miranda later took down the Facebook post and explained on Twitter that she deleted it “because it served its purpose and I am now dealing with a slew of requests for interviews.” She later deleted this tweet as well as, apparently, her entire Twitter account.
Hi all, deleted this because it served its purpose and I am now dealing with a slew of requests for interviews from The Wash Post, CNN, CBS News. Organizing how I want to proceed. Was not ready for that, not sure I am interested in pursuing. Thanks for reading

She posted another now-deleted note, this one to the media, declaring “no more circus” and declining any more interviews.
To all media, I will not be doing anymore interviews. No more circus. To clarify my post: I do not have first hand knowledge of the incident that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford mentions, and I stand by my support for Christine. That’s it. I don’t have more to say on the subject.

Miranda, who attended the elite all-female private school along with Ford, wrote about the heavy drinking culture among the students at her school, Holton-Arms.
According to NBC News:
Holton-Arms did not return a call seeking verification of King’s attendance. But a 1982 yearbook lists “Cristina King” as a student, and member of the Holton-Arms Athletic Association, an honor society. In her senior year, she led the school chorus as president, according to the 1983 yearbook. “Cristina King was able to keep the chorus members in tune as they trooped up to Hill and Lawrenceville to dazzle the boys with their talent and good looks,” the club’s yearbook page reads.
Ford appears in both yearbooks as well. She graduated in 1984.
King’s LinkedIn page says she attended Brown University and worked for a decade in Washington, D.C. before moving to Mexico.
Miranda’s social media posts didn’t necessarily add up, and their subsequent removal raised more questions online as many wondered if she was just looking for her 15 minutes of fame.

Didn’t Ford say that she never told anyone? Yet, miraculously, “everyone was talking about it”. ?

Plus it supposedly happened in the summer, not the School year.

Only an idiot would put out a tweet like that but add: “I’m not sure I want to pursue it…” This is peoples’ lives we’re talking about. These games are harmful.

What a liar: ‘…many of us heard about it in school…’, really? This incident did happen? Where you there? Though nobody knows where, when or who? You lack the moral integrity & honesty to even be taken seriously. What a pathetic attempt to make yourself relevant. #CKMiranda
