Meghan McCain spoils dad’s eulogy with vindictive attack on Donald Trump

The (vindictive) apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Just ask Meghan McCain, who—like her late dad John McCain—opportunistically used his funeral to attack President Trump. Great job, Meghan! Dad would be so proud.

While delivering the eulogy of her father, an angry Meghan took a dig at President Trump’s famous MAGA slogan by spouting: “The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again because America was always great.”

Yeah, no kidding, Meghan. America is, was, and always will be great. That’s why Donald Trump gave up a cushy life as a celebrated billionaire mogul so he could be viciously attacked around-the-clock for advancing the interests of the United States—the country he vowed to champion against all enemies. Foreign or domestic.

Instead of peacefully celebrating her dad’s life, Meghan McCain used her eulogy as a cheap stunt to repeatedly jab at his political nemesis.

“We gather here to mourn the passing of American greatness,” Meghan spat (see video below). “The real thing, not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly, nor the opportunistic appropriation of those who lived lives of comfort and privilege.”

Meghan McCain eerily sounds like she’s describing herself (“opportunistic appropriation of those who lived lives of comfort and privilege”).

Let’s be clear: John McCain was a hero who served in Congress for 34 years. He died of brain cancer at age 81 after receiving excellent healthcare, surrounded by loved ones, and being fawned over by the media. Would that we all enjoy such a privilege in our last days.

While McCain’s death is a tragedy for his family and supporters, the death of one senator does not affect the lives of the vast majority of Americans. His life or death did not put money into your pocket or make you feel safer. That’s a fact.

While most people let go of old grudges on their deathbeds, McCain apparently spent his last days obsessing over Donald Trump. As BizPac Review previously reported, McCain prepared a last statement on his deathbed that attacked President Trump.

In his parting shots, McCain blasted nationalism (i.e., pride in the United States) and dismissed the border wall, which experts agree is needed to stem the tsunami of illegal immigration, human trafficking, and the alarming opioid epidemic that is roiling America.

For decades, the mainstream media attacked John McCain as a racist, sexist white supremacist. But they hypocritically spent the last week (seven whole days) lionizing him so they could weaponize his death to attack President Trump.

McCain became a liberal hero starting in 2015, after he repeatedly obstructed and trashed the leader of his political party and a sitting United States president.

McCain’s most dubious political accomplishment was turning over the discredited “Steele Dossier” to James Comey. That debunked dossier was then used to kickstart the fruitless Russia collusion investigation.

That probe has cost American taxpayers millions of dollars and obstructed a sitting president. And here’s the kicker: It has yielded no evidence of collusion after more than a year.

Here’s a reminder of how the media repeatedly slammed McCain as a racist, misogynist white supremacist — until 2015, when he became a politically expedient tool to attack President Trump with.

All hail McCain’s biggest political achievement:

The Left turns on Trump-hater Meghan McCain for supporting 2nd Amendment
