Mika earns an intense round of ‘The Five’ mockery after her over-the-top reaction to Trump’s rally

MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski made herself a ‘Five’ target when her drama creeped more over-the-top than usual.

Jesse Watters believes it’s simple jealousy that fuels Brzezinski in her relentless attacks on President Trump’s mental health.

“She can’t discredit him on policy. She has to discredit him on personality,” Watters said on Fox News’ “The Five” on Friday, slamming the morning host for her continued attacks on the president’s mental stability.

Reacting to Trump’s speech at a rally, Brzezinski said on “Morning Joe” that the president was “completely unhinged and getting worse by the day.”

Fox News’ Dana Perino noted how members of the mainstream media continue to prove Trump’s point in his attacks against the press for bias, hypocrisy and “fake news.” She asked Watters why Brzezinski should see the president now as “unhinged” although nothing has changed in how he has conducted his rallies.

“She’s jealous, because it takes a lot of talent to do what he does, to be able read a crowd the way he does,” Watters replied. “It’s not someone that’s unhinged, it’s someone that’s so focused and so in tune to the crowd and their reaction, the timing, the sensibility of the way your words are going over with the crowd.”

He also sees the attacks as a product of “sour grapes,” as the “Morning Joe” hosts have had a negative turn in their relationship with Trump.

After playing a montage of clips featuring Brzezinski calling the president’s mental health into question, “The Five” co-host Greg Gutfeld concluded with his own diagnosis.

“In regards to Mika, there’s a good rule you can always use. Boring people think interesting people are crazy. And by comparison, she’s effectively boring,” he said. “The only thing interesting about her is her last name, let’s be honest.”

“And I think you can be harsh about her, because she offers no medical evidence, she offers no, had no medical expert there, she’s not a doctor, to talk about somebody’s stability, and by the way, in very serious tones,” he added.
