A piece that appears to be from President Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star that a vandal demolished with a pickax is on eBay with a starting bid of $500.

“This abandoned piece of debris is the last remaining piece,” the eBay user said on the seller page. “Verified from the location and time with video/photo evidence. Also, it is a surface piece so it can be positively verified with previously taken photos of the star.”

Austin Clay, 24, smashed Trump’s Star with a pickax on July 25 in response to family separation policy.

“I just felt really passionate because of what happened with the immigrants and him [Trump] stripping children away from their parents,” Clay told TMZ. “And that just sort of set me off.”

He turned himself into officials on the same day and pleaded no contest to felony vandalism, according to Complex.

Clay was released from jail on July 26, though it was unclear who helped pay for $20,000 in bail.

Clay was not the first to destroy the star. James Otis previously wrecked Trump’s Star in 2016 with a sledgehammer and pickax with others vandalizing the star with stickers and paint.

Otis also attempted to sell pieces of brass from the star on eBay in 2016 but had to turn in the pieces to officials, Complex reported.

If the current eBay seller does not have to turn in the piece, then bidding lasts till Aug. 4.
