Homeless man passes out resume on corner, scores over 200 job offers in booming Trump economy

In the booming Trump economy, even the homeless can get hundreds of job offers. Just ask unemployed web developer David Casarez, who has received more than 200 job offers after a good Samaritan tweeted a photo of him.

“Google reached out to me!” an excited Casarez gushed to the NY Post. “So many other companies. Pandora. A bunch of startups. A product manager from Bitcoin.com was wondering if I could work remotely or if I want to relocate to Tokyo.”

Homeless web developer David Casarez has been flooded with job offers since Jasmine Scofield tweeted this photo.

Casarez’s good fortune started after Jasmine Scofield, a makeup artist in Mountain View, California, tweeted a photo of David standing on a street corner holding a sign that read: “Homeless. Hungry 4 success. Take a resume.”

Scofield is used to seeing homeless people in the San Francisco area, holding up signs begging for money. What struck her was that Casarez didn’t ask for money. He did not seek a handout; he wanted an opportunity to work.

That prompted Scofield to tweet: “Today I saw this young homeless man asking for people to take a resume rather than asking for money. If anyone in the Silicon Valley could help him out, that would be amazing. Please RT so we can help David out!”

Scofield’s tweet has been retweeted more than 100,000 times, and has been covered by countless media.

Casarez grew up in Texas and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. After college, he landed a web developer job at General Motors in Austin. After working there for a while, he drove to Silicon Valley with the hope of launching his own tech startup.

He did some freelance work but was unsuccessful in landing a full-time job. By June 2018, Casarez had run out of money and was living out of his van.

“No one was hiring. I had an interview with Apple in January, but the job was filled internally,” he recounted. “I’d been living in my car for more than a year.”

Nancy Pelosi represents California’s 12th district, which covers San Francisco. She prioritizes illegals over homeless Americans.

A month ago, Casarez’s van got repossessed, so he has been sleeping on a nearby park bench ever since. Last Friday (July 27), Casarez put on his only decent outfit and stood on a busy intersection with his sign.

“I was thinking this was like my last stop,” he said. “If this didn’t work, I’d go back home and give up on my dream.” After standing on the street corner for a few hours, Jasmine Scofield stopped and asked if she could take his picture. The rest is history.

David Casarez is now fielding numerous plum job offers. While his story has a happy ending, it underscores the plight of many Americans today.

Homelessness is a growing problem in the United States, especially in the Bay Area, where the streets are literally lined with human feces, as BizPac Review has reported.

There are about 7,500 homeless people living in San Francisco, which has had a Democratic mayor since 1964.

Despite its own problems with homelessness and poverty, San Francisco is a sanctuary city that champions illegal aliens. In 2015, a San Francisco woman named Kate Steinle was gunned down by illegal immigrant Jose Ines Garcia Zarate.

At the time, Kate was strolling on a pier with her dad when she was murdered. Zarate claimed the gun went off on its own. Three times.

In December 2017, a San Francisco jury acquitted Zarate for the 2015 fatal shooting. The jury was not told that Zarate was a 7-time felon who had been deported five times when deciding his verdict.

The case sparked national outrage over sanctuary cities and the need for stricter laws on illegal immigration. President Trump called the verdict “a total miscarriage of justice.”

While liberals are foaming at the mouth to defend illegal aliens who murder Americans, here’s what Trump is up to:
