Maxine Waters says God sent her on a mission to stop Trump

Imagine a Republican lawmaker claiming he was sent by almighty God to stop a member of the opposing party.

The left doesn’t bat an eye when the remarks are made by one of their own, however, and especially when coming from Rep. Maxine Waters.

The California Democrat delivered a rather strange talk on her favorite subject – President Donald Trump – in a recently surfaced video from a church in Los Angeles.

“We never dreamed we’d have someone in the White House who was divisive, who could not tell the truth, and who was intent on not making America great again, but taking America down.” she told attendees during at First AME Church in Los Angeles on Sunday, The American Mirror reported.

After hammering Trump in her winding address, Waters declared, “I am in this fight.”

“I don’t know shut up!” she said as church-goers cheered. “I don’t know intimidation. I don’t know fear.”

Her bizarre speech continued as she appeared to insinuate that God had actually sent her on a mission against Trump.

“You’ve gotta know that I’m here to do the work that I was sent to do, and as pastor said to me when I came in this morning, when God sends you to do something, you just do it!” Waters said.

“So I have a message: I’m going back to Washington tomorrow morning, I’m going to tell them pastor told me to come here and just do it!”

The Democrat must have been fulfilling that mission when she came under heavy fire last month for calling for the public harassment of Trump cabinet members.

Her remarks at the church on Sunday raised collective eyebrows on Twitter.
