‘Self-righteous’ Trump-hater Trevor Noah’s past jokes spark a fire. Piers Morgan’s throwing gas.

Piers Morgan slammed Trevor Noah as a “shameless hypocrite” and a “fraud” over his attack on Aboriginal women.

The British journalist and host of “Good Morning Britain” raked Noah over the coals in an op-ed published by DailyMail online Monday.

Morgan called out the “self-righteousness” of the “Daily Show” host amid the backlash he has received for resurfaced footage from a 2013 stand-up special where he made derogatory jokes about indigenous Australian women.

“Not a day goes by when Mr Noah, a black South African, isn’t preaching to us from his politically correct pulpit, particularly when it comes to racism and equality,” Morgan wrote. “Which makes it all the more extraordinary to discover that he doesn’t actually practice what he preaches.”

The footage resurfaced just as the 34-year-old comedian is set to embark on an Australian comedy tour.

“There’s no such thing as the most beautiful race. All women of every race can be beautiful,” Noah said in 2013 stand-up special “It’s My Culture.”

“And I know some of you are sitting there now going, ‘Oh Trevor, yeah, but I’ve never seen a beautiful Aborigine.’ Yeah, but you know what you say? You say ‘yet,’ that’s what you say; ‘yet.’ Because you haven’t seen all of them, right?” He continued.

“Plus it’s not always about looks, maybe Aboriginal women do special things, maybe they’ll just like, jump on top of you and be like,” he said as he imitated the sound of a didgeridoo. “All women of every race can be beautiful.”

Joe Williams, an indigenous former rugby player, was one of many who blasted Noah on Twitter.

Many were still disappointed with Noah when his response to Williams’ tweet did not seem to include an apology.

“Sorry, WHAT? Or rather, where was the ‘Sorry’?” Morgan wondered.

“Rather than just accept what he’d said was obviously outrageous and offer a fulsome unequivocal apology to all Aboriginal women, Noah claimed he had to go a museum to understand why it was so bad,” he wrote.

Twitter users struggled to understand Noah’s logic as well.

“Can you imagine how he would react on his show if Donald Trump – Noah’s favourite target – had said that to explain one of his more inflammatory remarks?” Morgan added in his op-ed. “Noah would have rightly ripped Trump to pieces.”

Morgan called the late-night show host out for his other displays of intolerance, notably shredding comedian Roseanne Barr after her unfortunate tweet about former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett. He mercilessly tore into Barr and even blamed Trump “because he makes all of his supporters think they’re as impervious as he is.”

But Morgan noted that Noah’s slurs, unlike Barr’s tweet, were “a carefully prepared part of his stand-up show” and the so-called jokes were crafted “for maximum impact.”

“In other words, he knew exactly what he was doing,” Morgan wrote.

Morgan detailed a bevy of examples of Noah’s so-called comedy – in his stand-up shows, on the air or social media – that covered lots of ground from racist, anti-Semitic, and body-shaming remarks to those deriding serious topics like domestic violence.

“A man who says all Aboriginal women are ugly is not a man we should ever endure lecturing us on racism or gender equality ever again,” Morgan concluded. “And this time, Noah can’t even blame Donald Trump.”
