A federal judge delayed the sentencing of former Trump National Security Advisor, Gen. Michael Flynn – again – prompting a call from Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton to “shut it down.”
Fitton attended Flynn’s hearing before Judge Emmet G. Sullivan on Tuesday morning at U.S. District Court in Washington D.C.

Fitton called on President Trump to pardon the retired Lieutenant and only former Trump White House official to be charged in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
I attended General Flynn’s hearing today before Judge Sullivan. Came away with impression Judge Sullivan would brook no more significant delays by Mueller team of General Flynn’s sentencing, @RealDonaldTrump should pardon General Flynn….Shut it down.

“I’m monitoring the Mueller investigation and here to watch a miscarriage of justice continue,” Fitton told Newsmax as he left the hearing, “I don’t think Mike Flynn lied. I think he’s a target of Obama’s holdover Justice Department—[former FBI Director James] Comey, [former Assistant Attorney General Sally] Yates, and Mueller.”
Back in May, Mueller requested that Flynn’s sentencing be delayed for two months and requested a delay again that irked the judge. He ordered everyone to appear on Tuesday, which was Flynn’s first court appearance in seven months.
Flynn, who resigned from the White House in February 2017, pleaded guilty in Mueller’s Russia probe to making false statements to the FBI. But discrepancies and contradictions have plagued the case, with fired FBI chief James Comey even saying in March 2017 that he dd not believe Flynn intentionally lied about his contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
“Gen. Flynn is eager to proceed,” Flynn’s attorney Robert Kelner told Sullivan, but the judge announced the next hearing would be in August.
“Have a nice day,” Sullivan said, closing the proceedings Tuesday which lasted about ten minutes, according to Newsmax.
Demonstrators cheered Flynn as he left the courtroom, holding ‘Clear Flynn Now’ signs outside of the federal building, protesting Mueller’s probe.

But there were others in the crowd calling the retired Lieutenant General who served in the U.S. Army for 33 years a traitor.

But it seems people are fed up with the corruption and the hypocrisy, coming out in defense of Flynn and speaking up on social media about the way he has been treated.
It’s a complete and utter disgrace what has happened to Gen. Flynn especially when Hillary and her staff committed multiple felonies and have never been held accountable.

Why would they need a status hearing when they are suppose to be sentencing? American people have had enough and are quite sick of the so-called “Special Counsel”.

I like the sound of that. General Flynn is pure patriot w not a single bad intent. I would bet that he has been tormented in ways we can’t immagine and it needs to end, the fact democrats would do that to a man of honor says a lot.

There is already enough evidence to bring a civil case against #Strzok, #Page, #McCabe and #Comey if what we are reading is true. I pray he is cleared and wins huge damages.

“Mike Flynn”
If anyone out there believes that Flynn was prosecuted for his actual crimes, rather than a political vendetta from the Deep State, you are smoking dope.Mueller bankrupted him, then threatened his son with 30 years of prison.

Exactly. NO Pardon. He needs to take this all the way and prove Mueller’s corruption in manufacturing evidence. This is also why Mueller is putting off sentencing so it allows him more time to find dirt on Trump and indict him before he’s exposed on the Flynn or Manafort cases.
