ICE protesters scream profanities at security, demand to enter agency headquarters

Washington, D.C. — Protesters calling for the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) demanded to be let into the federal building Wednesday, while security ignored their shouting.

Multiple armed policemen guarding ICE headquarters did not flinch or acknowledge the protesters as they chanted “no borders no walls” and “f*ck ICE.” The protesters did not make any serious attempts to enter, despite the demands.

The protesters also shouted “quit your jobs” at the guards in front of the building.

One protester said ICE participated in “ethnic cleansing.” When asked by The Daily Caller News Foundation if he knew of anyone actually killed by ICE, he did not respond, saying the journalists asking were “complicit.”

“I see many black employees here,” one protester shouted at the ICE security guards. “I want you to know that your people are being separated, again, like during slavery. None of the security guards of any race responded.

Many of the protesters refused to answer questions about why they were there or what they specifically believed in, calling reporters “fascists.” At one point, a protester grabbed a cell phone out of this reporter’s hand, refusing to give it back until one of the leaders of the protest told him to.

Protests against ICE centers are sweeping the country. ICE protesters set up camp in front of a Los Angeles detention center on Monday, according to the Daily Caller. As of Tuesday, the protesters were still there.
