CNN commentator tells Jeff Flake to muster the ‘testicular fortitude’ to take on Trump

CNN commentator Bakari Sellers told GOP Sen. Jeff Flake to have the “testicular fortitude” to stand up to President Donald Trump and block his Supreme Court nominee.

“The most important person in this entire debate is Jeff Flake,” Sellers said on “CNN Tonight with Don Lemon” Wednesday.

“This Senate, just to do the math real quick, is 50-49 if John McCain doesn’t show up. It’s 50-49 with Mike Pence being the vote. Listen, Jeff Flake. That’s where we need to focus our effort. In Arizona, focusing on Jeff F lake who has nothing to lose.”

“If he wants to have some testicular fortitude and stand up to Trump, we can have a Justice who represents the United States of America,” Sellers concluded. “I don’t have any bets on that, but I’m just saying if pigs flew.”

Host Don Lemon chimed in and said Flake is inherently conservative and will likely support a conservative nominee for the bench.
