Seth Rogen may be congratulating himself for his snub of Paul Ryan’s sons but the actor is being raked over the coals for being “part of the problem.”
Rogen recalled the “awkward” encounter he had with the House Speaker and his children at a Utah summit hosted by Mitt Romney.
The comedian boasted about his obnoxious behavior to CBS late-night host Stephen Colbert on Friday, recounting how he was approached by two of Ryan’s kids after speaking at the event.
“Almost all of the attendees were Republican people—and I’m OK with that, but I didn’t know how I would react, honestly, to every situation,” he said about Romney’s annual gathering of business leaders, donors and Republicans.
I’m on the Late Show tonight. Here’s me telling Mr. Colbert about a run-in I had with @SpeakerRyan recently. It’s a wonderful and awkward story. pic.twitter.com/qJohE2rfrf

“At one point, two very young, white teenage men…they asked to take a picture with me. They’re maybe 16, 17. Very nice fans—clearly fans of mine,” Rogen said, strangely finding a need to clarify their race.
And while he agreed to take the photo, Rogen swiftly backtracked when the boys revealed who their father was.
“And then they said, ‘Our Dad wants to meet you,’ and I turned around and Paul Ryan was walking towards me,” Rogen told Colbert.
“My whole buddy puckered, as it were. I tensed up. And…I didn’t know what to do!” he continued. “And he came over and just grabbed my hand. And I’m like, ‘I’m shaking his hand, I don’t know what to do.’ And he says, ‘Can I have a picture with you?’ and I look over and his kids are standing right there expectantly, clearly fans of mine, and I said, ‘No way, man!’”
The Canadian actor joined “The Late Show” host in a solid round of laughter over his small-minded act.
At least this is what I said. https://t.co/1UBzhT5Ei2

“And I couldn’t stop. I said, ‘Furthermore, I hate what you’re doing with the country at this moment, and I’m counting the days till you no longer have one iota of the power that you currently have.’ And I look over and his kids are still standing right there, and I feel very conflicted about this at this moment,” Rogen went on. “It’s not their fault, but at the same time, they should probably learn that if they like a movie or song, the person who made that probably doesn’t like their Dad that much—unless they’re watching ‘Roseanne’ reruns.”
Of course, Rogen’s story was celebrated by the left despite his very obvious racist comments and his crushing blow to the teens who were “clearly fans” of his. Yet the director and star of “The Interview” and executive producer of AMC’s “Preacher” was quite pleased with himself.
“I’m glad I didn’t take a picture with Paul Ryan, I touched him so I don’t know how I feel about that,” he said. “His kids seemed lovely, and very Caucasian.”
I don’t know who to feel worse for: @Sethrogen or Paul Ryan’s children. The children are children, but will grow-up. Meanwhile #cuckrogen will always have the same juvenile mind. #HurtKids #Snowflakes #FreeSpeech #Cuck

Wow. This is just sad. Why did you even bother attending this event @Sethrogen since you clearly despised everyone in the room? https://t.co/5djSjJSKCU

After a contentious week of liberal meltdowns over the Trump administration’s alleged cruelty to migrant children “ripped” from the arms of their parents who chose to break the law by entering the U.S. illegally, Rogen’s diss of the Ryan boys was even more glaring, showing “what a little man” he really is.
This is how the left treats children….. https://t.co/9xTYoONalo

Yes hateful he showed his ass and what a little man he is.

Rogen’s actions spoke loud and clear about Hollywood’s disgraceful hypocrisy and double standards. Liberals should be proud.
This d-bag is BRAGGING about shooting down fans’ request for a pic because those fans are Paul Ryan’s kids.#StayClassy https://t.co/pugtYnSQlk

It isn’t awkward @Sethrogen . It’s #childish #Boorish #Pathetic #Stupid #Ignorant #cowardly #detrimental #abusive #IllMannered YOU did this to #children. That’s #ChildAbuse. @SpeakerRyan is intelligent & welcoming, you aren’t. #SethRogen you are, and will remain, a #fool. https://t.co/GFKDjBfzAD

Wow. I would not brag about disrespecting a man in front of his children. What has happened to being civil to each other? Build on what we have in common to work on what we disagree about.
— Cheryl (@clbdroid) June 23, 2018
Really? @Sethrogen you couldn’t give a picture to Paul Ryan son with you in it? So petty and the opposite of what you Progressive Dems spew!
— Christmas Baby (@merrychris61) June 23, 2018
Do you really think treating Paul Ryan and his kids this way is Okay?? Sleep well knowing you crushed two young kids spirits with your hatred. Take 2 minutes to think about how those kids felt! You sir just became part of the problem! https://t.co/Z8yMrHWbDf
— Coach With Purpose (@coachwithpurpos) June 23, 2018
Wow I was a big fan. Couldn’t reach across the aisle for a simple picture. I’m not even a republican but what I am is a person who would have appreciated anyone who is clearly a fan regardless of their politics. You do it for the kids not your politics.
— craig asselta (@craigasselta) June 23, 2018
I’m no longer a fan. What you did was mean and hateful. You should apologize. You sir, are part of the problem not the solution!!!
