Actor Chris Pratt’s acceptance speech at MTV’s Movie & TV Awards show was a powerful alternative to the usual pontificating by Hollywood liberals.
The “Jurassic Park” actor used his platform to inspire and encourage the young audience, something sorely lacking in award shows that have predictably been filled with hatred of President Trump, God and America.

The 38-year-old actor, who is open about his Christian faith – in Hollywood, no less – was presented with the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards show’s Generation Award, His speech was award-winning on its own, delivering what he called “Nine Rules from Chris Pratt, Generation Award Winner.”
He passionately told the audience that God is real and that He loves them. He told them they have a soul and spoke about grace, telling the crowd it “was paid for with somebody else’s blood.”
Likely not what an MTV audience was expecting to hear but Pratt’s brave and awesome speech has earned him much respect.
“Number one, breathe. If you don’t, you’ll suffocate,” the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star advised the crowd. “Number two, you have a soul. Be careful with it.”
Warning the listeners not to be a “turd,” Pratt continued: “If you’re strong, be a protector. And if you’re smart be a humble influencer. Strength and intelligence can be weapons. And do not wield them against the weak. That makes you a bully. Be bigger than that.”
He encouraged working for something, earning it and doing good unto others.
“Number six, God is real. God loves you. God wants the best for you. Believe that. I do,” he said, before shifting to a silly note about “if you have to poop at a party.”
But he brought his words to a close with more heartfelt wisdom.
“Number eight, learn to pray. It’s easy and it’s so good for your soul,” he said to applause.
“And finally, number nine, nobody is perfect. People are going to tell you, you’re perfect just the way you are. You’re not! You are imperfect. You always will be,” Pratt said. “But there is a powerful force that designed you that way. And if you’re willing to accept that, you will have grace. And grace is a gift. And like the freedom that we enjoy in this country, that grace was paid for with somebody else’s blood, do not forget it. Don’t take it for granted.”

Pratt’s entire delivery was in stark contrast to his colleagues’ recent outbursts, including Robert DeNiro’s profanity-filled rant about Trump. Looks like they could all learn a thing or two – or nine – from him.
.@prattprattpratt is one of the good guys.???

What Chris Pratt said took way more guts to say (especially #6&8) then what Robert De Niro did at the Tonys.

The amount of respect I had for Chris has grown on a Exponential Rate! A true road model and a true Guardian!
Also God bless whatever soul decided to play “Hooked On A Feeling” during this.

The God stuff took more courage to do in Hollywood than someone coming out of the closet or pretending to be oppressed

He and McConaughey are standouts. They are even more impressive against the left’s darlings – DeNiro, Griffin, etc.

He is so humble and brave to say all of that. I am so proud of him and I swear the internet better not be hating on him because of this.

I didn’t think it was possible to love Chris Pratt more…. I was mistaken.
