Here’s the photo you didn’t see: Moments from Merkel’s viral G7 shot the scene changed

A photo German Chancellor Angela Merkel shared on social media has gone viral, with liberals claiming she’s berating President Trump while she stands over him at the G7 Summit.

The photo has been claimed a “victory” by both liberals and conservatives, despite the fact that it shows who’s really in charge (i.e., the guy casually sitting down while others jump through hoops for his attention).

Merkel, who has been dubbed “German Hillary,” clearly understands the power of propaganda and getting your narrative out first. While the photo she shared went viral with the “she’s-the-boss” narrative that Merkel wanted to promote, what people didn’t see was that in the same moments, Merkel and the entire group burst out into laughter.

German reporter Fabian Reinbold tweeted several different angles of the photo, showing how each world leader put him or herself at the center of power in the informal group snapshot. Apparently, the photographic arms race is even fiercer than the nuclear arms race.

Meanwhile, Twitter artists and commentators had fun turning the viral G7 photo into a hilarious meme.

Here are a couple showing President Trump making good on his promise that the United States will no longer be taken advantage of as the “world’s piggy bank.”

Here’s how a group photo looks when the president of the United States is more concerned about scoring popularity points with foreign leaders than advancing the interests of the people who voted him into office (see Barack Obama on right).

President Trump cares more about advocating on behalf of Americans than being liked by foreign leaders. And that’s why he’s not afraid to take “unpopular” positions that sometimes irk our allies.

Here’s a flashback to Barack Obama’s appeasement approach to foreign policy.

President Trump bows to no foreign power, literally or figuratively.

As BizPac Review has reported, President Trump was slammed by liberals like Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, Senator John McCain, and fired FBI director James Comey for his decision to impose tariffs on some imports from Canada, China, and EU nations to make up for decades-long trade deficits.

Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau and Chinese president Xi Jinping responded by imposing retaliatory tariffs, and French president Emmanuel Macron blasted President Trump over the move.

President Trump said it was time to break the pattern of the United States being treated like “the piggy bank that everybody is robbing.” The U.S. has had lopsided, multi-lateral trade agreements in place for decades. Trump vowed to make fair trade deals that are mutually beneficial.

While liberals are busy trashing President Trump over Angela Merkel’s G7 photo, here’s the image they should be focused on instead. But as usual, libs constantly miss the forest for the trees.

Editor’s note: The original headline implied the laughing group photo was taken seconds after the viral shot. It was corrected immediately, as there is no hard time reported between the shots.
