‘Say it, sweetheart’: Giuliani doesn’t mince words on Maxine Waters’ impeachment crusade

Rudy Giuliani issued a challenge to Rep. Maxine Waters, mocking her incessant calls for President Donald Trump’s impeachment.

The former New York City mayor blasted the California Democrat during an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity.”

“You know some people have criticized my strategy,” Giuliani said, “which is the president’s, of to some extent playing to the American people. If this was a regular case, I wouldn’t be doing it. But the people who will decide this are the people of the United States in the 2018 election.”

“And boy they are switching fast and the Democrats are running for cover,” Trump’s personal lawyer said. “You don’t hear them say the words impeachment anymore, I challenge Maxine Waters to say impeachment!”

“Say it, say impeachment, sweetheart, just say it!” he dared.

“Wow,” Hannity said in response.

“And you know what’s gonna happen, you’re gonna go down,” Giuliani said, “not maybe you, because they vote for you, I dunno why, but they vote for you.”

Waters fired back the next day, taunting Giuliani about a recent Yankees baseball game he attended.

“Giuliani, I join with the crowd of 46,583 fans in Yankee Stadium from earlier this week: BOO!” Waters said, according to The Hill.

The crowd at booed the former mayor when the announcer at the Yankees Memorial Day game mentioned he was there for his 74th birthday.
