In one scathing rebuke, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders silenced former President Barack Obama and former Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry.
President Trump’s decision to withdraw the U.S. from the disastrous Iran nuclear deal sparked an uproar from his critics and rebukes from the resentful trio of Democrats. Sanders torched them in one sentence at Wednesday’s press briefing.
“I think based on each of those individuals’ lack of success in this entire process on foreign affairs, they would probably be the last three people that we would look to for advice and counsel, and whether or not we had made the right decisions,” Sanders responded when a reporter asked about the harsh criticism from the prominent Democrats.
Sarah Sanders is awesomely savage in her response to the idiot media asking these ridiculous questions. Good for her. https://t.co/NK557EQ5yL

Not exactly the experts one would turn to considering their appalling effect on American foreign policy, Obama, Kerry and Clinton had each unloaded their unwanted opinions following Trump’s consequential decision.
Kerry, who was undermining the administration by working secretly with Iranian officials and others to salvage the pact he helped craft, slammed the decision which he claimed “weakens our security” and “isolates us from our European allies and puts Israel at greater risk.”

“Instead of building on unprecedented nonproliferation verification measures, this decision risks throwing them away and dragging the world back to the brink we faced a few years ago. The extent of the damage will depend on what Europe can do to hold the nuclear agreement together, and it will depend on Iran’s reaction,” he wrote.
Ahead of his announcement, the president warned Kerry to “stay away” from meddling which was “hurting” the country.
Meanwhile, Kerry’s former boss released his own overblown statement filled with distortions about his 2015 signature foreign policy achievement which waived sanctions against Iran as long as the nation remained in compliance with the pact limiting its nuclear weapons program.
There are few issues more important to the security of the US than the potential spread of nuclear weapons or the potential for even more destructive war in the Middle East. Today’s decision to put the JCPOA at risk is a serious mistake. My full statement: https://t.co/4oTdXESbxe

The former president claimed the pact was working and was “in America’s interest” as it had “significantly rolled back Iran’s nuclear program.” In fact, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu argued the opposite at a presentation last week where he revealed thousands of documents showing Iran’s efforts to build its nuclear program.
“Debates in our country should be informed by facts, especially debates that have proven to be divisive,” Obama wrote. “Because of these facts, I believe that the decision to put the JCPOA at risk without any Iranian violation of the deal is a serious mistake.”
Clinton echoed the cries of alarm as she declared that America’s “credibility is shot.”
Pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal is a big mistake. It makes America less safe and less trusted. Iran is now more dangerous. What’s plan B? Anyone who thinks bombing is the answer is woefully misinformed.

The failed Democratic presidential nominee touted her own accomplishments and linked to Obama’s statement in a series of tweets following Trump’s decision.
As Secretary of State, I helped negotiate the crippling international sanctions that brought Iran to the table. It would be much harder a second time, now that our credibility is shot.

It will also be harder to deal with other threats like ballistic missiles and terrorism. Now we have no leverage and Iran is free to do what it wants.

With the multiple failures of Obama and his team in the area of foreign policy during the eight-year administration – including the Benghazi massacre, the disastrous intervention in Libya while abandoning Iraq and ineffective dealing with violent extremism – Sanders seemed to have hit the nail on the head.
