The attorney for porn star Stormy Daniels challenged Rudy Giuliani to a face-to-face “discussion” on live television after calling him out in a series of tweets.

Michael Avenatti apparently did not appreciate comments made about him by President Trump’s lawyer in an interview with Bloomberg on Tuesday, and tweeted a message to the former New York City mayor on Wednesday.
Mr. Giuliani – you just called me a “pretty unsuccessful lawyer” and stated that you “can’t remember a case he’s ever had that meant anything.” 1st, you obviously can’t remember much. 2nd, check my bio and you will find over a BILLION worth of verdicts and settlements. #dumb

Earlier, Avenatti had issued a challenge to Giuliani to meet on air to discuss the case in which he is representing the adult film actress, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.
The lawsuit is centered on a $130,000 payment made to Clifford by the president’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, before the 2016 presidential election in order to keep her silent about an alleged sexual encounter with Trump a decade earlier.
I think it would be very helpful for the public to witness a discussion between Mr. Giuliani and me concerning the facts of the case, etc. I am willing to participate on any network provided both sides are provided a fair shake. I am also willing to do it on 12-hrs notice.

Giuliani’s comments to Bloomberg referred to Avenatti’s claim to have “discovered” that Cohen received hundreds of thousands of dollars after the 2016 election “from a company controlled by a Russian Oligarc [sic] with close ties to Mr. Putin.”
After significant investigation, we have discovered that Mr. Trump’s atty Mr. Cohen received approximately $500,000 in the mos. after the election from a company controlled by a Russian Oligarc with close ties to Mr. Putin. These monies may have reimbursed the $130k payment.

“I have no idea how he would know that. I have no reason to believe that anything he says is true,” Giuliani said. “I consider him now sort of a guy who books for ‘Saturday Night Live.’ The guy is a pretty unsuccessful lawyer — can’t remember a case he’s ever had that meant anything — and I think he’s desperate for money.”

Giuliani, who joined Trump’s legal team as an adviser last month, raised eyebrows last week when he claimed that Cohen had paid Daniels and was later reimbursed by the president.
