A former producer of the “Rosie O’Donnell Show” and “Jerry Springer” has been charged in the gruesome 2015 murder of her disabled sister, who was deaf and partially blind.
Jill Blackstone allegedly drugged her sister Wendy Blackstone and put her and her three dogs in the garbage and set it on fire, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Investigators then claimed Wendy tried to stage the murder as a suicide by placing a suicide note at the scene, TMZ reported.

The Baltimore Police Department said Jill is facing extradition to Los Angeles, where the alleged crime occurred. In March 2015, Jill was arrested at a Baltimore hospital while awaiting medical treatment for severe carbon monoxide poisoning.
Authorities said Wendy died from a combination of carbon monoxide poisoning and the drug Xanax. Police said Wendy committed the murder due to the “frustration of being forced to provide Wendy long-term care, as well as the associated financial hardship.”
Jill was taken into police custody in 2015, but was later released. At the time, the autopsy report by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office called the death “very suspicious” and “possibly staged.” Police believe the “suicide” note was written by Jill.
Jill is also facing three counts of animal cruelty for the murders of her sister’s three dogs, who died in the garbage fire.
During the 1980s and 1990s, Jill Blackstone was a producer on numerous popular TV talk shows, including “The Rosie O’Donnell Show,” and Sally Jessy Raphael’s “Sally” show, and “The Jerry Springer Show.”

O’Donnell — a vocal Trump-hating liberal — has not commented on the case. But her Twitter feed is rife with anti-Trump posts and retweets, as well as a new note from this week, where Rosie suggested that she’s taking some “new meds.”
During their 2015 divorce proceedings, O’Donnell’s ex-wife, Michelle Rounds, accused Rosie of being an alcoholic and a drug addict.
