Once again, the press is making much ado about nothing.
After Page Six reported on Friday that Vanessa Trump hired a “criminal defense attorney” to represent her during her divorce from Donald Trump, Jr., media outlets speculated the move was related to the ongoing Russia probe. The truth was less sensational.

“Vanessa Trump has hired a criminal defense attorney to represent her in her divorce from Donald Trump Jr. just as special counsel Robert Mueller subpoenaed the president’s family business,” the Page Six piece began.
The story went on to note that Vanessa Trump tapped David Feureisen, a New York-based lawyer who in 2007 helped release a man from federal prison after a judge overturned his bar fight-related murder conviction.

Other publications similarly drew a connection between the couple’s divorce and Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian electoral interference and possible collusion.
People devoted an article to speculation as to why Trump’s wife would need a criminal lawyer to handle a divorce.
The magazine sought the expertise of celebrity divorce lawyer Neena Tankha, who said:
“There is no explanation for retaining a criminal defense attorney for a divorce case. Even when filing an uncontested divorce, the general practice is to retain a matrimonial attorney, who is familiar with the process of obtaining a Judgment of Divorce.”
The Mercury News called Mrs. Trump’s choice “curious.”
The Cut also joined in.
As did Hollywood Life.
Vanessa Trump had a simpler explanation for why she chose Feureisen: he’s a longtime acquaintance of her family who practices multiple areas of law.
A spokeswoman for Mrs. Trump told Page Six:
“Vanessa’s attorney is someone whom she and her family have known for over 20 years. He practices in many areas of the law and … is not a criminal defense attorney.”

The couple appears to not be fighting over custody or assets, and are set to settle their divorce quietly out of court.
Sources close to the Trump said Vanessa feels “uncomfortable” with the attention her family has received since her father-in-law entered politics, and that she was immensely frightened after receiving a package of mysterious white powder in the mail last month.

Many, including Chelsea Clinton and former White House official Anthony Scaramucci, have called on the media to give the Trumps privacy as they deal with the divorce.

Anything sad & unfortunate that happens to the Trumps the left will celebrate. It’s the only way for them to feel better. Pathetic.

Do the liberals really know how vile they are? How can they live with themselves hurting people that are suffering? I truly don’t understand.

Especially when children are involved-there is no reason for the fake news to be all over this.
