Smear campaign against NRA backfires bigly as conservatives rally for freedom

Liberals were quick to pounce on trying to destroy the Second Amendment immediately following the horrific high school massacre in Parkland, Florida, but now it looks as if the collective move could be backfiring.

CNN got the ball rolling by hosting a televised town hall stacked with anti-gun Parkland students and gun control advocates. The massive crowd booed and jeered at Senator Marco Rubio and NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch who were vastly outnumbered with their pro-Second Amendment stance.

Loesch went head-to-head with Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel who, along with the crowd, inexplicably tried to place blame for the massacre on the NRA.

“They were threatened with death. They were threatened that they were going to bleed. They were threatened that they were going to be killed,” Loesch told Israel as she grilled him over the 39 times law enforcement was warned of Nikolas Cruz, the killer.

While the left used the moment to build a vicious online campaign against the NRA, calling for companies to sever ties with the pro-Second Amendment organization, Loesch and those critical of Israel and local law enforcement were soon vindicated with numerous reports of negligence and incompetence by Israel.

Meanwhile, the George Soros-funded political group Think Progress took credit for the organized campaign, but their celebratory mood might have come to soon.

It didn’t take long for those with eyes-wide-open to see the vicious smear campaign against the NRA as a long-awaited political ploy by the left.  And every time a company like Delta, United, and Hertz announced they’d cut ties with the NRA, it seemed the National Rifle Association gained hundreds of new members.

CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski was awake enough to see where the liberal smear campaign was going.

Gee, ya think?

Don’t underestimate the will and tenacity of those who yearn to be free. If Georgia lawmakers have their way, Delta Airlines’ decision to ditch the NRA could cost the company $40 million as a consequence.
