Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman declared it’s “game on” in the new season of “Celebrity Big Brother,” comparing the reality show’s cast to her former colleagues.
“There’s a lot of people that want to stab me in the back, kind of similar to the White House,” she said in the cast member introduction for the season premiere of the show in which she is now appearing.

“The one thing I learned from politics is you have to learn how to watch your own back and in some cases you have to watch your front too,” Manigault-Newman said.
A self-declared “superfan” of the show, Manigault-Newman is no stranger to reality television, having made her debut on the first season of NBC’s “The Apprentice,” in 2004 with Donald Trump, cementing a friendship that carried her from his presidential campaign trail to the White House.
Her confrontational personality made her a controversial figure in the Trump administration as she vehemently defended the president against criticism. Reports were mixed about her abrupt decision to leave her position as director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison in December, sparking rumors that she was fired for clashing with chief of staff John Kelly.
“I am a reality TV legend,” she announced in the “Celebrity Big Brother” premiere, which added to the fury of liberals who could not wrap their heads around her latest move.
“After the very interesting year I’ve had, I’m actually looking forward to being away from … the press. I’m pretty sure that the world doesn’t know that I am a ‘Big Brother’ superfan,” the 44-year-old star said. “As I enter into the ‘Big Brother’ house, as challenges come my way, I will seek to overcome each and every one of them.”
Manigault-Newman joined 10 fellow competitors including singer Mark McGrath, actress and model Shannon Elizabeth, Cosby Show alum Keshia Knight Pulliam, and former MMA fighter Chuck Liddell to compete for a $250,000 cash prize over the next three weeks.

“I’m exceptional in everything that I do and aspire to do,” the confidant Manigault-Newman said. “I was the queen of the boardroom, now I’ll be the queen of the ‘Big Brother’ house. Celebrities, you better watch your back.”
