Saturday Night Live could be fined for indecency after host Sam Rockwell dropped the F-bomb during a live skit parodying a PBS children’s show.
“You can’t be this f–king stupid!” Rockwell blurts out to two “children” giving wrong answers to an easy science question.
Rockwell immediately realized his mistake, put his hands over his mouth in panic, and repeated his line: “I’m sorry. You can’t be this stupid.”
To their credit, SNL stars Cecily Strong and Mikey Day stayed in character as the two clueless children and feigned shock at Rockwell’s profanity (video below).

It’s unclear what the Federal Communications Commission will do, if anything. This isn’t the first time a Saturday Night Live host has cursed on live TV.

In February 2017, “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart accidentally said “F—” during her opening monologue. And in 2009, former SNL cast member Jenny Slate dropped an F-bomb during a live skit.
The FCC did not fine Saturday Night Live in either instance, but Slate was dropped from the cast at the end of that season.
SNL has scored huge ratings recently by mocking President Trump. This week, comedian Bill Murray surprised fans with his portrayal of Steve Bannon.
In the skit, a bloated, disheveled “Steve Bannon” argues over the quotes attributed to him by author Michael Wolff in his book “Fire and Fury.”
But first, Mika Brzezinski (played by Kate McKinnon) remarks: “I always thought you looked like death, but this is death warmed over.”

Naturally, liberals invoked President Trump’s alleged sh*thole remark while discussing the SNL gaffe. Because Trump Derangement Syndrome isn’t limited to just the weekdays.
