White House press secretary Sarah Sanders called a ruling by a California federal judge to block President Trump’s attempt to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program simply “outrageous.”
“We find this decision to be outrageous, especially in light of the President’s successful bipartisan meeting with House and Senate members at the White House on the same day,” Sanders said in a statement released Wednesday morning, according to The Daily Caller.

Sanders was responding to a ruling by Judge William Alsup, who was appointed by former President Bill Clinton, on Tuesday extending the DACA policy that ensures amnesty to 700,000 illegal aliens in the U.S. who entered the country as children.
“An issue of this magnitude must go through the normal legislative process.,” Sanders said in the statement. “President Trump is committed to the rule of law, and will work with members of both parties to reach a permanent solution that corrects the unconstitutional actions taken by the last administration.”
A bipartisan group of lawmakers met with Trump on Tuesday to discuss the fate of the program.
The president called the courts system in the U.S. “broken and unfair” in a tweet on Wednesday, reacting to the ruling on the policy that was scheduled to phase out in March.
It just shows everyone how broken and unfair our Court System is when the opposing side in a case (such as DACA) always runs to the 9th Circuit and almost always wins before being reversed by higher courts.

The Department of Justice also denounced the ruling, stating that the “order doesn’t change the Department of Justice’s position on the facts.”
“DACA was implemented unilaterally after Congress declined to extend these benefits to this same group of illegal aliens,” Justice Department spokesman Devin O’Malley said. “The Justice Department will continue to vigorously defend this position, and looks forward to vindicating its position in further litigation.”
