Stephen K. Bannon does not hold his fire. The Breitbart CEO and former Trump adviser is quoted extensively in a forthcoming blockbuster book “Fire and Fury” that is sure to send shockwaves through the D.C. establishment.
This is obviously Bannon’s ultimate intention. Whether the Trump ‘pit bull’ who latches onto the presidential candidate’s opponents and won’t let go until there are pools of blood or the critical outsider holding the president accountable, Bannon is playing by his own set of rules, as vicious as those may be.
Politics is a bloodsport. Bannon treats it like gladiator combat.
The retired Navy Lt. and chief strategist of the Trump campaign seems to invite enemies from the GOP establishment and the progressive Democratic Party. “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” as quoted by media critic and Rupert Murdoch critic Michael Wolff, shows us this propensity in spades.
1. Trump Tower meeting “treasonous” and “unpatriotic”
“The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor – with no lawyers. They didn’t have any lawyers.
“Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad shit, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.”

2. “They’re going to crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV.”
As reported by The Guardian, which has an advance copy of the book, “Bannon, speaking to author Michael Wolff, warned that the investigation into alleged collusion with the Kremlin will focus on money laundering and predicted: They’re going to crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV.”
3. “[T]hat’s the brain trust that they had.”
Bannon is quoted as saying that the Trump Tower meeting should have taken place “in a Holiday Inn in Manchester, New Hampshire, with your lawyers who meet with these people.”
The information then can be…“dump[ed] … down to Breitbart or something like that, or maybe some other more legitimate publication.”
“You never see it, you never know it, because you don’t need to … But that’s the brain trust that they had.”
4. The path to “f***ing Trump”
Bannon, who has criticized Trump’s decision to fire James Comey, unloaded about Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation.
“You realise where this is going,” he is quoted as saying. “This is all about money laundering. Mueller chose [senior prosecutor Andrew Weissmann first and he is a money-laundering guy. Their path to f***ing Trump goes right through Paul Manafort, Don Jr and Jared Kushner … It’s as plain as a hair on your face.”

5. Bannon versus “Javanka” and Kushner
In addition to the book revealing animosity towards “Javanka,” Bannon heaped blame on her husband Jared Kushner and threw in a hurricane analogy for what’s coming for the Trump administration.
“It goes through Deutsche Bank and all the Kushner shit. The Kushner shit is greasy. They’re going to go right through that. They’re going to roll those two guys up and say play me or trade me.”
“They’re sitting on a beach trying to stop a Category Five.”
“Fire and Fury” looks to be a real pageturner for both Trump fans and opponents alike. The book is based on over 200 interviews with Trump and his associates and will launch next week.
