Sen. Elizabeth Warren set herself up for a complete roasting on social media when she chimed in on a tweet by President Trump.
“In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record,” Trump said in a tweet Thursday. “Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!”

The mainstream media reacted in horror to Trump’s tongue-in-cheek quip, and the president’s favorite non-Native American responded a short while later with her own tweet.

Actor James Woods lead the charge in schooling the Massachusetts Democrat, nicknamed “Pocahontas” by Trump for once claiming a Native American heritage.

Warren reportedly claimed she was part-Cherokee Indian years ago in order to get ahead with affirmative action hiring programs that were actually meant for real Native Americans. Trump took some heat recently for a jab at “Pocahontas” during an event honoring the U.S. Marine Corps’ Navajo Code Talkers, despite praise from a Navajo vet who was present.
