Donald and Melania Trump spent Christmas spreading good cheer.

Trump spoke to five deployed units from his “Winter White House” in Palm Beach, Florida on Christmas Eve.

“I just want to wish everybody a very, very merry Christmas, we say Merry Christmas, again, very, very proudly. Very very Merry Christmas,” Trump said.

“We’re going to have a great year, an incredible year. I’m thrilled to bring seasons greetings on behalf of the first lady and our entire family and most importantly, on behalf of the American people. Today and every day we’re incredibly thankful for you and for your families. Your families have been tremendous. Always under-appreciated, military families, the greatest people on earth.

“As we celebrate this most precious holiday, we’re grateful for each of you who spend this Christmas away from our families and defend all of our families, our freedom and our flag. Every American heart is thankful and we’re asking God to watch over you and to watch over your families.”

In the early hours of Christmas morning while most were still sleeping, President Trump sent the American people a special Christmas message via Twitter.

“We renew to the bonds of love and goodwill between our citizens. And most importantly we celebrate the miracle of Christmas,” President Trump said.

Trump spoke of the birth of Jesus and called Him the true source of joy and hope.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace,” Trump said.
