Gunman opens fire at Colorado Walmart as country is still reeling from NYC terror attack

Everything is political.

Police identified the man who allegedly opened fire at a Colorado Walmart on Wednesday night, killing three people.

Thorton police are still on the lookout for Scott Ostrem, 47, and issued a nationwide extradition homicide warrant for him, Fox News reported.

Ostrem reportedly approached the entrance of the Walmart and “nonchalantly” opened fire. Thorton Police released a surveillance image of Ostrem and his vehicle to social media early Thursday morning.

“The employees started screaming. Customers were screaming,” Walmart customer Aaron Stephens told Fox.

“They were running like crazy, and I ran out too because I didn’t want to get killed.”

Videos of the horrifying scene circulated through social media as the news broke.

Two men died at the scene and a woman died after being transported to the hospital. Two more victims were reportedly in stable condition, according to Fox.

And while police continued their search for suspect Ostrem, many liberals on social media began to play identity politics with the tragedy.

Many lefties are upset over President Trump’s reaction to the appalling terrorist attack in New York City on Tuesday. Once it was revealed that the suspect, originally from Uzbekistan, was welcomed into the U.S. through a loose immigration lottery system the demand for immigration reform was reignited.

Just the mere mention of Gitmo sends most liberals into a hyperventilating rage. Considering Trump did not sugarcoat the fact that the NYC terror attack was committed by a Muslim immigrant, added fuel to the fire.

And liberals, furious over Trump’s irreverent reaction to the NYC terrorist’s identity, are all too eager to point out the Colorado shooter’s race.

No reasonable person would believe President Trump has any sympathy for Ostrem, but as far we know, he’s not affiliated with ISIS. It’s also assumed Ostrem was born in the United States and didn’t enter through a shoddy immigration policy.

If convicted, Ostrem should get the max penalty for his heinous act. But, considering the U.S. already has its own evil criminals to contend with, it would be wise not to import more from far off lands.

Update: Colorado Walmart shooter Scott Ostrem was apprehended on soon after the publication of this article on Thursday.

A citizen phoned in a tip when they thought they had spotted Ostrem’s car near his home in Denver. Ostrem was stopped and arrested without incident, the Denver Post reported.

Several witnesses reported hearing a loud bang at the scene of his arrest, but authorities revealed it was a flash-bang grenade detonated to distract as Ostrem was taken into custody.
