No telling what Alan Grayson was thinking when he tweeted a disgusting remark to Ted Cruz and made himself the target of severe backlash.
The Florida Democrat who was resoundingly defeated in the primary race for the 2016 U.S. Senate election, thought it was a good idea to comment after Ted Cruz’s Twitter account reportedly “liked” a tweet from a pornographic account.
Wow, and here I thought the only thing @tedcruz could get off to was stealing healthcare from poor people. Color me shocked.

While it was not yet clear whether a staffer of the Texas senator was responsible for the “like,” the lewd response from Grayson was certainly uncalled for given his own dubious past. As his political career imploded, Grayson was accused of domestic abuse by his former wife of 25 years, Lolita Grayson, who alleged multiple accounts of abuse and claimed he once tried to kill her.
Grayson probably wished Twitter users had shorter memories.
