A heated debate between Greg Gutfeld and Juan Williams over President Trump‘s decision to rescind DACA quickly escalated into an explosive on-air exchange on Fox News.
Williams had already sparred with his co-hosts on “The Five” Tuesday as they debated the pros and cons of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, an immigration policy founded by former President Obama in 2012 which protects illegal immigrants who entered the country as children.

The Trump administration announced an end to the program protecting “dreamers” and Williams slammed the move as another example of the president’s hypocrisy. He argued that Trump claimed the DACA decision was “about the law” while his pardon of Sheriff Joe Arpaio did not use the same standard.
Gutfeld complained that he has heard the Arpaio comparison “over and over again.”
“It’s just a way to steer the argument from somewhere else,” he said as Williams shot back that he thought this was “about the law.”
“It is,” Gutfeld replied “Just something to think about: when an illegal alien gets a job, who’s that job taken from? Who could have filled that job? A white person or a black person? Did you ever think about that?”
“Yeah, I have thought about that,” Williams responded.
“Because you only see it as race!” Gutfeld pointed out. “I see it as Americans, you see it as race.”
Williams countered with the argument that Trump generalized Mexicans, who make up 75 percent of DREAMers, as “rapists, thieves, and murderers.”
“You’re deflecting now,” Gutfeld said.
“I’m not deflecting!” Williams shot back. “You don’t like to deal with race because it makes you feel guilty, Greg!”
“Are you out of your mind?!?” Gutfeld exclaimed. “I’ll talk to you about race until I’m blue in the face!”
“If you do away with immigrants who came and acted as honorable…” Williams began as Gutfeld fired back.
“I know, I know. You’re calling me a racist. I hear it,” he said. “You’re calling me a racist, Juan. Well done!”
Williams, meanwhile, continued “I’m not calling you a racist. That would be easy for you.”
Attempting to cool things down, Jesse Watters jumped in.
“Greg wants to protect the DREAMers, Juan wants to protect them, I want to protect them, and so does Donald Trump,” he said as he transitioned into the next topic of North Korea.
