Michelle Malkin teed off on leftists who want to tear down President Donald Trump and, while they are at it, every statue that marks America’s history.
The conservative firebrand smashed Democrats, and establishment Republicans, for doing everything they can to stop the president’s agenda, which includes protecting Americans from terrorist attacks like the one that occurred in Barcelona on Thursday.
“We’ve got the progressive left, the open borders lobby, who have done everything in its power to stop President Trump, whose trying to make sure we don’t have Madrid style bombings and more vehicular jihad attacks like this on our shores,” she said.
“And what do they do Sean?” she asked. “Play the race card. Not only to demonize personally their political opponents, but to obstruct them from achieving our most basic goals of government in ensuring our sovereignty and the safety of our people.”
She lamented those who accept “Islamic terrorism as a fact of life and have just given in.”
“Finally we have a commander-in-chief who does not accept that as a reality. And all we get is this constant drubbing of the baying hounds of the partisan enablers of jihad, the partisan enablers of division in this country, who will not accept that we must — name the enemy and do everything in our power (to) stop these people from getting into our country and kicking them out when we find them,” she said.
But, Malkin wasn’t done, and went on to blast  the new push to remove all “controversial” statues of American history.
“This is about the whitewashing of history by progressive leftists,” she told Sean Hannity.
“It bubbled up first on campuses where you saw militant Black Lives Matters activists and other social justice warriors try to tear down every last statue. And now it has spread across the country.”
The host of CRTV’s “Michelle Malkin Investigates” said she agrees with President Trump that it is better to confront history rather than attempt to erase it.
And she thinks the president not cowering in fear like it seems every other Republican politician does when the left calls them a racist, is a smart move.
“It is very effective Sean, not only for you and the supporters of President Trump, to turn the race card back and smack that race card over the head, figuratively, of the progressive left because somebody has to push back,” she said, with a smart allecky emphasis on “figuratively.”
“I believe that is an admirable thing, that he is not going to let himself be pushed around and be labelled as a racist or supremacist by people who embrace Planned Parenthood,” she said.
“You want to take down a statue, how about the sculpture of Margaret Sanger, the godmother of the abortion movement, who was a champion of te worst ad most evil kind of Eugenics? she said of the Planned Parenthood founder. “Why don’t you start with that?”
