Minority panel shocks CBS reporter, won’t fall prey to loaded questions after Charlottesville

The stunned look on the face of the CBS reporter told the story.

The mainstream media cannot figure out why President Donald Trump’s base won’t abandon him. And three women, two of whom are black, did their best to explain it to CBS.

Janelle Jones, Ellen Diehl and Lucretia Hughes spoke to CBS on Wednesday told CBS’s Mark Strassmann that their support has not waned.

“I don’t look at him as my pastor or my moral leader,” Jones said. “I look at him as the leader as it relates to governmental issues.”

“We are not looking for somebody charming,” Diehl added. “We are looking for a man who knows how to turn things around and he’s got a track record of turning things around.”

Diehl said she didn’t think what happened in Charlottesville was necessarily a black and white issue as much as it was a left and right issue.

“But its left fringe and right fringe,” she said.

“The Confederate statues don’t bother you?” an incredulous Strassman asked Jones.

“I wasn’t born back then, you wasn’t either,” she said. “So why is that affecting us? If anything we should grow and learn from it. Just like Martin Luther King said, you don’t judge people by the color of their skin. You base that on their character.”

One of three independent-thinking women who tell CBS they won’t be bullied into bashing President Trump.

The women told Strassmann that the president they blame for racial tensions is former President Obama and the Democrats for playing identity politics.

Hughes made it known that the mainstream media narrative of accusing the president of being racist isn’t going to work on her.

“I think for myself. Period,” she said. “Nobody is going to tell me what to think or how to think. I am not gullible and I am not blind. It’s my decision if I am going to support someone or not. Not go by what other people has to say and to me what I have seen and what I love, he is not going to lose my support any time soon.”

‘Use your brain!’ Young black woman breaks down & eviscerates the media’s ‘fake racial war’

“I have been a Republican before Donald Trump, I will be a Republican afterwards,” Jones added. “I honestly don’t think we will see this issue a racial divide addressed until we remove identity politics out of the political process.”

The women are not the only minorities speaking out this week and punching the mainstream media narrative in the face.

A black woman, named Candace Owens, invited liberals to have “a cup of hot steaming facts” that destroyed the idea that the KKK and Neo Nazis are running rampant in America.
