After being publicly shamed before millions of viewers, “The Bachelorette” contestant Lee Garrett apologized for what was deemed sexist, racist tweets.
…also known as the unvarnished truth, if you’re a conservative.
Garrett, who now says he is “woke” and “educated,” was a prolific user of social media and frequently tweeted on politics. One example being he once dared to compare the NAACP to the KKK, unabashedly saying both entities are racist.
While liberals scream racism, the remark is not altogether inaccurate, considering the NAACP’s more recent history.

Garrett also characterized the violent Black Lives Matter movement as a “terrorist group” … which they are, according to many of their actions.
Other tweets took on the LGBT community, radical Islam and even Hillary Clinton, who Garrett said was “the millennial’s version of O.J.”
“Guys… When is the last time YOU actually saw a pretty feminist? There is a reason for this,” another tweet stated.
And while the posts are course, particular if you’re a liberal, from a rational-minded person’s point of view, there’s no racism or sexism on display.

Garrett, whose describes himself as “Unapologetically Southern” on his Twitter profile, now has his tweets protected.
And he opted to grovel before the pop culture gods.
“I’m sorry for saying things when I was not educated and ignorant in those subjects,” Garrett said after being hung out on this week’s show.
His mea culpa drew the immediate praise of his fellow contestants, who cheered his submission to liberal mind-think.
The real lesson being there is no place for conservative thought in television today.
Garrett remains on “The Bachelorette” for now, but don’t expect that to last too long.
Host Chris Harrison reacted to the trumped up controversy on Tuesday.
“For those asking, no, of course we didn’t know about the offensive tweets from Lee’s account. None of us were aware of them Very unfortunate,” he tweeted.
