Reports that Anthony Scaramucci and his wife are getting divorced seemed to be confirmed by the new communications director in a request to “leave civilians out of this.”
After three years of marriage Deidre Ball reportedly filed for divorce because of her husband’s “naked political ambition,” according to sources who spoke to The New York Post’s Page Six.
“Deidre has left him and has filed for divorce. She liked the nice Wall Street life and their home on Long Island, not the insane world of D.C. ,” one source said. “She is tired of his naked ambition, which is so enormous that it left her at her wits’ end. She has left him even though they have two children together.”
In a tweet on Friday, Scaramucci, who was made the White House Communications Director by President Trump on July 21, appeared to acknowledge the news.

The 52 year-old Wall Street financier was allegedly “hell-bent” on gaining a position in Trump’s administration, even selling the firm he founded in 2005, SkyBridge Capital, in January in preparation for a role in the White House, according to the Page Six source.
Scaramucci’s loyalty to Trump was apparently an issue of contention for Ball, 38, his second wife who worked as a vice president in investor relations for SkyBridge Capital.
“Deidre is not a fan of Trump, and she hasn’t exactly been on board and supportive of Anthony and his push to get back into the White House,” another source told Page Six. “I don’t know who Deidre thought she was marrying but anyone who knows Anthony knows he’s an ambitious man.”
Naturally, Scaramucci’s request for prayers for his family and respect for their privacy was met as expected by liberal reporters.
