Spell check anyone? Hilarity ensues when Dem’s prop to bash GOP health care reform has a major flaw

Is it any wonder our nation’s youth are so ill-taught on the basics when they have leaders like this as mentors?

A Democratic senator’s’s message was no doubt lost on her audience given a gaping misspelling of a word on a placard she used as a prop earlier this week.

While blasting the Republican plan to repeal and replace Obamacare Tuesday, one of Sen. Maria Cantwell’s aides placed a large placard on an easel that said, “Junk Insurance.”

However, when she moved on with her argument, the Washington Democrat’s prop was replaced by another that said, “War on Medicad.”

She was apparently referring to an amendment introduced by Sen. Pat Toomey seeking to reverse the surge in Medicaid enrollment under Obamacare, which included able-bodied employed participants.

“If we’re going to do this, we’ve got to ask states to pay their fair share,” the Pennsylvania Republican told Fox News.
