Clothed or naked, one should never run around slapping cops — it never ends well.
Video recently emerged of a crazed naked man spraying a Houston police officer with insecticide and slapping him in the face. That marked the end of the man’s rampage.
After Keith L. Dean, 49, emerged from a Houston METRO transit train and assaulted the cop last month, the officer used a Taser to bring him under control, according to local ABC affiliate KTRK 13 Eyewitness News.

Prior to his encounter with the police, Dean was walking down a Houston street when a Good Samaritan offered him a towel to cover up. When Dean asked for the man’s watch, the Good Samaritan handed it over to placate him and Dean ran away to the train station.
That’s when police were called to the scene. KTRK reported:
At that time, Ben Marquina just happened to being walking out of the same train. He turned on his cell phone and began recording. What he captured was remarkable video of police first being attacked and then arresting Dean. In the video, Dean is seen spraying the pesticide at officers then slapping one of them.
“This is where he got punched, and glasses flew off, and this is where he fell,” Marquina told KTRK.
The officers had to Taser Dean twice to get him to cooperate.
“Yeah the cop, he showed a lot of restraint after getting punched like that, crazy,” Marquina added.
Dean was charged with two counts of assaulting a public servant and remains in the Harris County jail.
Even Dean’s lawyer, Markay Sound, said the the police exhibited restraint.
“By watching the video it is clear that there is much more going on than a man intentionally committing a crime,” Stroud told the Houston Chronicle. “From the actions and demeanor of Mr. Dean to the professionalism shown by the officers who arrested him it is obvious Mr. Dean is not acting rationally. I hope that once all the evidence is reviewed by the State they will realize that Mr. Dean was not acting with malicious intent toward anyone.”
