In news that will never be brought to you by the mainstream media, an old story about Donald Trump’s generosity is spreading.
It resurfaced after President Trump chimed in on the heart-wrenching story of little Charlie Gard, a terminally ill child who was essentially sentenced to death by the European Court of Human Rights (ironically, enough).
Despite pleas from the parents to bring Charlie to the U.S. for experimental treatment that could improve his condition, prolong his life and help to ultimately find a cure, the all-knowing courts overrode the parents and essentially God, and ordered the 10-month-old be removed from life support.

The parents’ anguish was captured on video and the story took off across social media, even shocking some Leftists who advocate for government-run healthcare.
It did not take long for Charlie’s story to reach President Trump who is a proud father and a fighter for people’s rights over government control.

Of course, Trump was blasted by the left for “exploiting” Charlie’s story, but most found comfort in President Trump’s stance and willingness to step in. Trump administration officials were reportedly in talks with the British Government about the case over the weekend.

But it’s another story that also has Trump fans singing his praises and puts the doubters of the president’s true intentions to shame.
“Orthodox child with rare ailment is rescued aboard tycoon’s jet,” blared the 1988 headline. And that tycoon would be Donald J. Trump.

“Mr. Trump did not hesitate when we called him up,” Harold Ten, the boy’s father said at the time.
The 3-year-old boy named Andrew was picked up in Los Angeles on Trump’s private jet and flown to La Guardia airport. Commercial jets refused to carry the boy due to his elaborate life support system.
When Harold was asked why Trump didn’t hesitate to help, he had an answer…
“Because he is a good man. Has three children of his own and knows what being a parent is all about.”
Certainly, the Trump children have grown into an impressive bunch. Their amazing work ethic, steadfast loyalty and poise is hard to argue against and likely didn’t happen “on accident.”
Those who support Trump were delighted to be reminded of the story.

As for the young Ten boy, he tragically died 10 years after being helped by Trump. It’s not clear if the treatment he received specifically because of Trump’s intervention prolonged his life, but it played a part.
As far as Trump’s intervention into little Charlie Gard’s struggle, it’s still too soon to see if it will help. But his parents keep fighting, and Charlie’s mom Connie Yates retweeted Trump’s statement.
She has been busy raising money on a Go Fund Me account that has accumulated nearly $2 million and also offered this warning: “Take your child to a hospital and they’re not yours anymore.”

A chilling and honest statement about big government if there ever was one.
