The tide may slowly be turning on the anti-Trump resistance movement.
A sure sign was when Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein said Congress should investigate James Comey’s testimony that his ex-boss, former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch, ordered him to downplay the FBI investigations into Hillary Clinton’s email server.
Last week, Comey told a Senate panel that Lynch had “directed him” to refer to the FBI’s criminal investigation of Clinton as a “matter” and not an investigation:
The attorney general had directed me not to call it an ‘investigation,’ but instead to call it a ‘matter,’ which confused me and concerned me. She said, ‘Don’t call it that [investigation]. Call it a matter.
Comey said the direct order from his boss made him “feel queasy” because the Clinton campaign had been using the word “matter” whenever they discussed the FBI probe with the press.
“The Clinton campaign, at the time, was using all kind of euphemisms for what was going on,” Comey recounted. From the outside, it sure sounds like Lynch and the Clinton camp had colluded on the propaganda rhetoric to use to downplay the FBI probe.
CNN’s liberal pundit Van Jones slams Hillary for wasting $1 billion on failed campaign
On CNN Sunday, Dianne Feinstein said she, too, felt queasy when she heard Comey’s statement. “I would have a queasy feeling too,” Feinstein told CNN. “I think we need to know more about that. And there’s only one way to know about it, and that’s to have the Judiciary Committee take a look at that.”
Feinstein, 83, is the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee and a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee. She recently said there is NO EVIDENCE of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.
Perhaps Feinstein and other liberals are finally starting to distance themselves from Hillary Clinton and from the Trump-Russia hoax because of the utter lack of evidence to support the media-driven narrative.
Senile RINO John McCain claims wimpy Obama was a stronger leader than Trump
CNN’s liberal pundit Van Jones made headlines this weekend after slamming Clinton and the Democratic party for “wasting a billion dollars” and doing nothing to help their constituents.
“The Hillary Clinton campaign did not spend their money on white workers, and they did not spend it on people of color,” Jones said. “They spent it on themselves, let’s be honest. They took a billion dollars—a billion dollars—and set it on fire, and called it a ‘campaign.’ That wasn’t a campaign.”
