Saudi Arabian censorship turned a woman into a beach ball in an advertisement for swimming pools, causing an uproar on social media.
Saco, a retailer based in Saudi Arabia, tweeted an ad for Intex swimming pools that featured a heavily photoshopped photo of a family in the pool.

One observant Twitter user set off a chain of reactions as others retweeted comparisons of the original photo and the Saudi version, which not only featured the family clothed, but the mother replaced by a ball.

And while the change outraged many on Twitter, it is actually common practice in Saudi Arabia which has strict modesty rules and regularly removes women from catalogs and advertisements.
