‘Sorry, Megyn, you’re not the new Barbara Walters’: Libs make Kelly pay for ’12 years’ at Fox

She might has well wear a Scarlett letter “F” across her forehead.

The uber-regressive folks at The Daily Show briefly gave Megyn Kelly kudos for her hard-lined questioning of Vladimir Putin, but the accolades didn’t last long.

After praising Kelly for getting under Putin’s skin in the NBC interview that aired Sunday, show host Trevor Noah brought on contributor Michelle Wolf to take Kelly down few notches.

Kelly’s offense? Working for Fox News.

Philly reporter’s epic career suicide caught on camera: GIANT mouth gets her cuffed in one heck of a scene!

“You know what Trevor?” Wolf began in an excruciating whiny voice.

“Seeing someone so conniving trying to manipulate the American public was disgusting,” she said, setting up the obvious joke.

“Oh, no, no! I’m not talking about Putin, I’m talking about Megyn Kelly.”

The horribly scripted joke didn’t get much of a laugh, and the seething emotional injuries spurred by Hillary Clinton’s election loss became more transparent from there.

“Last night on her new show, she acted like she didn’t spend the last 12 years of her life as a soldier in Fox News’ culture war,” Wolf preached.

Wolf called “Fox News’ Megyn Kelly” a “pretty, race-baiting puppet who Roger Ailes kept trying to put his hand up.”

But wait. Like her or not, didn’t Kelly rise to the top of her profession, beating out many men for a leading seat in the news business?

Isn’t that something “liberals” are supposed to champion?

Not if you worked for Fox.

To make it viler, Wolf celebrated Ailes’ recent death before doubling down and calling Kelly a fake for moving to the non-cable NBC network.

When Noah pretended to stick up for Kelly, saying Wolf was being too hard on the former Fox host, Wolf went off again.

“Oh really? Five months ago she was part of the problem. Sorry Megyn, you’re not the new Barbara Walters,” she said.

“You’re just that Sprint-Verizon guy who follows the money.”

If Kelly were following the money, she likely would have stayed at Fox, where she reportedly had been offered much more to stay with the network that helped her rise to massive success.
