CNN is getting all “edgy” with a new series featuring what it calls “badass women.”
In response to Hillary Clinton’s humiliating defeat against anti-establishment Donald Trump, CNN is trying to scrape together some sort of spin to make it all better.
Hence, “Badass Women of Washington” was born.
The new 7 part series produced by Abigail Crutchfield and hosted by Dana Bash was concoted over lunch while contemplating Clinton’s stunning loss. An editor’s note from CNN’s website reads:
The CNN top-dogs contemplated what “Clinton’s loss meant for women”? How about retaining individual liberty and jobs!
One can only imagine how many martinis might have been consumed during that lunch.
Predictably, the first woman featured in the series is liberal Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein. Like many of her colleagues, Feinstein has become a permanent feature in Congress, but was one of the first women to break into bigtime D.C. politics.
Feinstein was elected as a U.S. senator in 1992 and became one of the first two women senators to represent California along with her peer Barbara Boxer.
CNN praised Feinstein for her accomplishment, but just like the editor’s note from above stated, also gave her glowing credit for being able to retain her seat in apparent perpetuity.
CNN’s “Breaking News” Twitter feed posted the the not-so-new news in it’s timeline:

Not everyone was impressed:
The founders didn’t want career politicians…I’m sure she’s nice but she’s got to go.

Bingo!
How’s this breaking news
— Joe (@wrig2017) June 6, 2017
Double bingo!
CNN’s Andrew Cuomo made the mistake of challenging Dr. Gorka on Trump’s so-called ‘Muslim ban’
The use of “badass” simply confirms the unseriousness of modern journalism. Everyone trying to sound like a Gawker blog.

Is CNN now campaigning for Feinstein?…Is this going to help her or hurt her….Cnn’s full backing & conniving didn’t bode well for Hilary

It’s really about Hillary wound-licking, and CNN won’t be stopped.
It is, however, planning to feature some Republican women of Washington as going strictly with Democrats would be too obvious even for the Clinton News Network. Rep. Jamie Herrera of Washington state, and President Trump’s Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao will be representing the GOP, WWD reported.
As far as the first Republican woman to ever run as a Vice Presidential nominee? There was no mention that “badass” would be featured.

Don’t hold your breath.
CNN’s new series premiers today on its network and website.
