Famed Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz said President Trump has everything to gain legally from former FBI Director James Comey’s upcoming testimony.
He appeared on MSNBC’s “For the Record” Wednesday and told host Greta Van Susteren that although Trump may suffer a few political bruises from Comey, it will help him and his legal team to develop a legal strategy to combat his claims.

“Why will it help him legally? Every defense lawyer wants to see a preview of the testimony against them,” Dershowitz said.
“That’s why we hate grand jury hearings and we love inquiries, preliminary hearings, where we can hear in open what’s coming up against our client.”
