Nice try! NO, Trump did not bow or curtsy when he BENT DOWN to get medal around his neck

Leftists are livid that unlike Obama, President Trump did not bow to Saudi King Salman. So now, they’re bleating the delusional narrative that they saw Trump curtsy when he received a medal of honor.

The brouhaha erupted after Saudi Arabia literally rolled out the red carpet for Trump, who was greeted at the airport by 81-year-old King Salman despite the 107-degree heat.

In 2016, Salman sent a low-level lackey to meet Obama at the airport.

A Twitter war instantly erupted, with conservatives applauding Trump for sending the message that the U.S. president bows to no one.

However, desperate liberals claim they saw Trump curtsy and bow to King Salman when the hunchback 5-foot-8 monarch reached up to put a medal around the 6-foot-2 billionaire’s neck.

A liberal blogger even created a meme purportedly showing Trump curtsy.

Liberals sarcastically claimed that Trump was even more deferential to the Saudi king than Obama was. One person tweeted: “Remember when Trump said Obama was a disgrace for bowing to Saudis? Haha, guess who bowed to them today? Or perhaps it was a curtsy?”

Former Obama aide Ben Rhodes even stepped in, tweeting: “We’ve officially reached the end of hypocrisy,” as he linked to a photo of the towering 6-foot-2 Trump leaning down so the much-shorter Saudi king could put a medal around his neck.

Fox News’ left-leaning White House correspondent John Roberts—who’s in Saudi Arabia covering Trump—noted the president did NOT bow.

Anyone viewing the footage can see that Trump did not bow or curtsy. He politely leaned down so King Salman would not strain himself.

In royal custom, men do not curtsy (women do), so what liberals claim was a “Trump curtsy” would be completely meaningless.

Unlike Obama, President Trump does not bow to Saudi king: Gets red-carpet welcome

When Obama first met King Salman in 2009, he did a deep bow all the way down to the waist, so there’s no confusion about what it was. Obama was roundly criticized for his deferential stance to the Muslim leader.

When you compare the majestic reception that President Trump received in Saudi Arabia compared to the lukewarm one Obama got, it’s clear the Muslim nation is sending the message to the world that they embrace Trump and want to work with the United States.

Being a businessman, Trump knows that money talks and b*lls*t walks, so the Saudis punctuated their eagerness to appease him by signing a record $110 billion deal that will benefit the U.S. economy and bring “jobs, jobs, jobs” back to the country.  Just like President Trump promised he would.
