Feminist Camille Paglia, a pro-capitalist liberal, is disgusted that Democrats are colluding with the media to “create chaos” for President Trump.
Paglia, a professor at University of the Arts in Philadelphia, said such overt anti-Trump press bias and collusion will only ensure that he will win re-election in 2020, because it’s turning the public off.
“Democrats are doing this in collusion with the media obviously, because they just want to create chaos,” she told the Washington Examiner. “They want to completely obliterate any sense that the Trump administration is making any progress on anything.”

Paglia recalled that the first six months of Barack Obama and Bill Clinton‘s presidencies were also chaotic, so the turbulence Trump is experiencing right now is expected and nothing new.
“Obama’s administration for the first six months was chaos,” Paglia recounted. “Bill Clinton’s was chaos for six months. Nobody holds that against a new person. And those two guys had actually been politicians!”
Paglia, a Democrat who supported Bernie Sanders for president, has lost confidence in the media because of their toxic partisanship and blatant anti-Trump animus.
“I am appalled at the behavior of the media,” she said. “It’s the collapse of journalism … The media has so utterly lost its credibility that I think people are going to vote against the media again.”
In April, Camille Paglia told the New York Times that Trump will win re-election in 2020 because the Democrats have overplayed their hand.
“It is incumbent upon the defeated party to pull itself together, or else we’re going to get the reelection of the present administration,” Paglia said. (see video). “The Democrats have overplayed their hand. What the Democrats needed to do, and the major media needed to do, was to do some soul-searching.”
Unfortunately, Paglia doesn’t believe the Democrats or the liberal mainstream media have learned anything from their crushing defeats, paving the way for another Trump victory in 2020:
The New York media was in an absolute bubble about this [the Trump phenomenon]. If you read only the New York Times — I said, ‘Oh my God!’ The readers of the New York Times are heading for a major, major breakdown shock if Trump is elected. And let’s not get started on the strategic errors of the Hillary campaign.
Paglia has previously blasted Hillary as “soulless” and “corrupt.” “I feel Hillary Clinton is utterly corrupt,” she told Spiked (see video). “I think she’s absolutely soulless. I think she’s incompetent.”

Paglia also slammed Clinton for blaming sexism for her election loss. “Misogyny played no significant role whatever in Hillary Clinton’s two defeats as a presidential candidate,” she said. “This claim is such a crock!”
